Torchy's Tacos

Pretty solid food here. I ordered green chili queso with chips. Then I got the Trailer Park Taco (fried chicken, green chilies, lettuce, pico de gallo & chedder jack cheese with poblano sauce on a flour tortilla) and Baja Shrimp Taco (fried shrimp, cooked cabbage slaw, pickled onions, jalapenos, chipotle sauce, corn tortilla). Really good food and nice price!

I stopped in to order to-go as the lunch rush was starting, and the line was already building but it moved really quickly. The cashier was friendly and efficient, and got my order placed quickly. While I waited I could see one of the managers delivering food, checking on tables, and keeping everything moving so even though it was a bit crowded, it didn't seem like anyone was waiting long. I got my food and it was perfect, just as I'd ordered it and delicious!

Have never been let down by Torchy’s. Had my first experience a month ago and YES!!! This is the place! Always clean always fun and ALWAYS GREAT FOOD!!!!! I will continue to visit this establishment for the foreseeable future.

Torchys has become a tradition each time we come to Austin from the borderland (i.e. read authentic tacos). I love the diversity of flavors and, I know this is weird, but the colors in the tacos. Everything I've tried on the menu has been delicious and we enjoyed the open patio.

Had a burrito and honestly was fantastic man the sis brought me and the fam here and I can't thank her enough. Salsa was good food was hot and great.

Oh Torchy's, another beloved review for you. I am going to make it my mission to go to each location! The things we do in the name of love. Today I stopped at the location in Austin off 620.

I was sad to see there was not a bar at this location, pretty straight forward with decor, not as decorative or elaborate as the others. Still looks good though. 👏 I sat on the patio with nice views of trees and a cooling breeze.

I ordered the taco of the month, Kingpin.
Half an order of queso, half order of Mexican street 🌽 and 2 beef tacos to go for my pops.

The queso came out quickly and was as delicious as always. Followed not long after by the rest of the order. The kingpin overflowed with delicious goodness, I had to scoop up the rest with chips which was tasty as well. SO, SO, good. 🌮

My tummy is oh so happy. Thanks Torchy's!

Kat was great. We ordered to eat in and let her know that we would do a takeout order too before we left. It was 8.30pm and they close at 9.00pm.

She came out to the table that we were at and took the extra order to make sure it got to the kitchen before it closed. It was very kind of her. Thanks! ❤

Visiting from Cali and pleasantly surprised to find good Nexican food out here. I just Google tacos near me and based on ratings decided to try. I love that they offer vegetarian options. The avocado taco was delish. But also enjoyed the grilled chicken. Comes with a side of some sort of marinated bacon bits which tasted yummy too. I will definitely come back next time I'm in the area.

Great place for a quick bite to eat that is no the regular nationwide fast food chains. It has a little bit of everything for everyone.

I am still satisfied with Torchy’s tacos. I have been eating there for many years. They are always good and consistent. The staff are really nice and make sure I have everything I need . I will definitely keep going back. 😁

Three words. Damn. Friken. Good. They really live up to their slogan! I went at lunch time so the lines were quite long. After we got through the line, there were no seats inside. The tacos are amazing to eat though! The sodas are even better. The sodas are made from cane sugar instead of corn syrup. They have a variety of flavors they you have to try before picking which one to drink. I usually mix a little bit of vanilla into Mexican coke (recommend trying)Happy eating!

The best tacos I’ve ever had. Amazing selection of tacos (from breakfast to supper) and an awesome assortment of hot sauces to choose from. I got The Monk breakfast taco and the Democrat. The flavors and contents of each were awesome, and they came out on nice, fresh tortillas. I would highly recommend getting an assortment of the hot sauces and trying some of each. They have a variety of spicy heat levels and range of base flavors.

Torchy's had good service and food on my most recent visit. I especially like the Farmer's Punch juices. Everything was fresh and delicious.

Came in for a quick take out order after signing up for their rewards program. There was an easy designated pick up spot and manager was kind and informational about how the rewards program worked.

Good place to eat. You have to go if you're in Austin. The combination of tacos really sets this place apart from other restaurants.

Vagabond and brushfire tacos in the picture. Best tacos I've ever had besides their Ace of Spades. Been going to torchy's since it first started as a trailer downtown.

I have a family of 5 and we got the family pack, chips/queso and adult drinks/Margaritas to go, it was hands down the best. The manager Byron Densman made sure we had everything we needed, plus more. A big thank you from my family to your Torchy's family!!!! Y'all made out night

Huge Torchys eater here as in like 10 times a month lol I always get corn tortilla tacos.

Today I did the same and to my surprise the corn tortillas were HOMEMADE!!

Omygosh took my tacos to another level!!

If I loved it before surely now it’s an OBSESSION!!!! You must try!!!

Consistently great food. Good location, easy access and plenty of parking. Order at counter, pick up when buzzer rings. inside and outside seating available. Love the selection of tacos and non-taco dishes.

Disappointed they don't have the South Pole Taco this year. That has been my favorite taco of the month for December the past several years. Still damn good tacos & queso.
