Cascade Heights Veterinary Center

Love the team here. I am temporarily staying in the area and they have taken care of my two pets wonderfully. The veterinary clinic staff are all so friendly and attentive. I wish I was staying in the area longer- they are awesome!

When I first came to Dr Paulsen, 5 years ago with Tiko I gave a 3 star rating. She was just starting and felt there was room to grow. I gauged how my dog reacted and after sloppy care at another vet on 1st Ave SW, I was protective. Dr Paulsen eased Tiko’s fear of doctors. She took care of him til he passed. Now a new rescue, Dulce. She’s loving the addition of Dr Kraabel. As any parent, you have to be proactive in the care of your self and family. I still stand by my last review, “Quality doctor, quality care”.

Feels like a family! Great experience the past year and a half with our Bernese mountain dog. Incredibly reasonable pricing compared to other vets in the area, I’m never worried about being charged for something unnecessary which I think is huge. The staff and vets have all been so friendly and welcoming. The best!

We have been going to CHVC since they opened in White Center. Dr. Paulson has treated several of our cats over the years. She is amazing; kind, thoughtful, knowledgeable, listens and explains everything well. All of the staff is great too. If you have a pet the only Vet is CHVC!!

Everything about our visit was great! Staff were welcoming and friendly, the environment was calming and serene (almost felt like a spa), and Dr. Paulson's insight and counseling regarding our dog's health and what we can do for her was appreciated immensely. A great place to go!

2022 Update: We just couldn’t be happier than at Cascade Heights! We have been seeing them now for two years and have seen 3 of the 4 vets on staff. Each one is so kind, patient, knowledgeable and I so appreciate their detailed follow up notes. They really take the time to understand what’s going on and offer a variety of solutions. The vet tech staff are amazing as well - they remember our dog each time and are so kind to her each time. The clinic is clean, convenient and we truly love knowing our dog is in great hands! I normally hate vet appointments but I genuinely look forward to visits at Cascade.

Original 2020 review: We love Dr. Paulson and team! They are so friendly, helpful and patient. We got a corgi puppy this summer and she loves visiting the vet — even on vaccine days! I appreciate that they haven’t pressured us to do anything overboard but also always take the time to explain the risks of certain medications, procedures, etc. Really fantastic vet and so appreciate every single person there!

I was a long time customer/client at Lien (20+ years), but the lack of availability for appointments really forced me to look elsewhere. Cascade is everything that Lien USED to be. Friendly staff, wonderful vet techs, lovely vet. Dr. Kraabel was wonderful and exactly what I'd hoped I'd find in a new vet (especially given that I saw both his parents at Lien and had the utmost respect for them). Everyone is compassionate about animals at Cascade and it shows.

I can’t say enough good things about the team at Cascade Heights. We’ve been taking our pets here for 7 years now and they are so organized and accommodating. The doctors are very communicative and have really helped us remain calm during a few panic moments with our dogs. They have even saved us a few trips to Blue Pearl by squeezing us in last minute. Highly recommend!

Kind and attentive staff. Dr. Geoff Kraabel is incredibly knowledgeable about senior cats and takes initiative to follow-up with any changes.

I really like the vets at Cascade heights. One of my dogs isn’t the best at meeting other animals, and we’re able to wait in the car until a room is ready for us so that there’s no problems. I love that I’m allowed in the appointments with my animals, and I ask a LOT of questions that are always answered without judgement. I’m glad I found this place.

Recommended by a friend and am taking my newly adopted adult cat in for an initial check and taxes. Staff out front very nice in getting things setup.

Isabella and Prince have been going to Cascade Heights since Isabella came home over two years ago. They are the best vets. We actually moved out of the area over a year ago and we still bring them here no matter the commute. The entire staff is a pleasure. Sandy is a breath of fresh air and you know she loves her job. Dr. Paulson is always upfront about our pets needs and makes sure we understand. I never leave feeling like we've been duped or the concern went unaddressed. Isabella and Prince run to the door whenever we stop by!

Going to the vet is never a pleasant experience but Cascade Heights makes it at easy as possible. I was pleasantly surprised by their reasonable pricing and I really like the separated waiting room. No rush with the appointments either. I wish I could get as much time with my doctor as my cat gets at his appointment!

I couldn’t be happier to have found Cascade Heights Veterinary Center. The facility is modern, clean, friendly, and efficient. The staff I have interacted with have been wonderful. I can tell that they care about the pets and their parents. With Dr. Paulson, I know that my fur “kid” is receiving the best care possible. My dog, Chester, is a rescue, and he found his “forever home” when he came to live with me. I have now found my “forever clinic!”

I love Cascade Heights Veterinary Clinic! My dog isn't a fan of vet visits, but the staff at Cascade Heights have been incredibly sweet and understanding. Dr. Kraabel and Dr. Nacewicz are absolutely fantastic – they get on the floor while examining my dog to make him feel at ease. They take their time to explain things and answer our questions without making us feel rushed. Plus, the clinic's waiting area and exam rooms are always clean and the front desk team is both friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Cascade Heights if you’re looking for a vet for your furry friend.

We have been taking our pup, Arten, to Cascade Heights for about two years, since we first got our furbaby! We looked for ever to ensure we found only the best! We chose CH for their amazing reviews and we were not disappointed! Dr. Paulson and her team at CH are awesome! They are caring, honest, and explain everything to you! We moved to Federal Way, and still drive 40 minutes because we don't want to change vets!

Wonderful experience with our dog - recently had a teeth clean and the team took such good care of him and gave us regular updates. I also really like that they have an app to manage your account. We will continue to use their service!

I truly appreciate how kind and caring all the staff are. I have extreme anxiety and my kitty Zena is my emotional support. Everyone was so supportive and compassionate when Zena had a recent emergency.

My older kitty sees Dr. Kraabel and I'm always impressed with the care he takes with both my pet but also with explaining things to me and offering options based on her age and situation. I never feel rushed and I can tell he really cares about the pets he sees and their parents. Staff is always very helpful and friendly and tech appointments are usually very quick.
