Ack's Exotic Pets

This is a gem of a pet store. I’ve gotten rats and a gecko from them and all have been in excellent health. Our gecko is now 3 and thriving. Their bugs are the best and they’ve fed my beardie for 4 years and she hasn’t had an issue with parasites since I started feeding exclusively from Acks. Their staff is incredibly knowledgeable about exotics and their animals are extremely healthy and well cared for. You can tell they love animals. The shop is clean and it’s a great shopping experience overall. I’m a loyal customer for life.

Bought both of my snakes cali king and corn from them. Very friendly and knowledgable . I bought a sand boa that I wasn’t happy with and was able exchange her for the cali king after a week of owning her. Thank you Kim!

Love this place an they take such good care of each animal an it shows. Lots more exotic birds an snakes that I didn't get to photograph because I was so fascinated.

Very knowledgeable staff. Wide variety of animals from snakes, lizards, parrots, hamsters, coolest tortoises ever!! And much more. All animals very friendly. We bought 2 healthy bearded dragons and an entire 40gal breeder setup for them as well. Colin was awesome. This was our first lizard ever. He spent over 1 hour with us the first day when we were looking. Very kind with our girls to teach them how to hold a lizard and teach us about caring for the beardie. He was very educated about reptiles, he was awesome at his job.. Kimi was great too. I live over 1 hour away. Glad we made the commute there and that we bought from them and not a chain store. We have now purchased 2 bearded dragon and 2 crested geckos we also go weekly to buy crickets and mealworms weekly and to also see what's new at the store

We usually get tortoise supplies there and snake food. There are many things to see and purchase. The sales assistant was super knowledgeable

Carl always has my needs for my pets for many years now from their food to accessories. He also has an array of animals/exotic of all kinds that would love a peaceful, caring home. His employee is very knowledgeable, & ever so friendly!!! They also carry crystals,quarts,& skulls form various locations. It's a must go-to if you have pets...Love this place!!!

We purchased a Bearded Dragon recently from this store and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Our little friend got backed up from a meal that was a little too big. They recommended a trick to help it poop and it is back to eating like normal. I sought advice the day before at Petsmart because Acks was closed and they didn’t even understand my question. Very grateful for them and recommend them very much over chain stores.

This place means it when they say, "Exotic Pets!" From venomous arachnids and bugs, to unusual species of lizard and frogs. They even have many animals that aren't for sale, because the proprietor is passionate about this. That's always a recipe for success! What a great place to stop by and get pet supplies and equipment that usually isn't offered by chain per stores.

Carl and Kim and Collin are the best. All super knowledgeable and more than willing to help out if you have any questions. Love this shop. Been going here for years and love it. Birds, reptiles, and invertebrates and some small furry pets. Definitely suggest checking their shop out if you haven't already

Good selection of reptiles! They had a few different monitor species, several tortoise species and a few different boas plus several other types of snakes

We found this place on a whim one day and have been making the 45 min drive at least once a month. Colin is super friendly and very knowledgeable of all the animals and products. My boys love going here! Highly recommend
