Great place, be wary of the lower lake trail as it's often flooded. Knee high boots is sufficient and preferred, rather than scrambling on the sidehill. Very thankful I didn't bring my dog, but I did carry my kids thru the water

Great park with great trails and a fun little playground. Clean bathrooms and nice public BBQ pits. Trails are in good condition and we really enjoyed being able to get outside. Visiting from New Orleans.

Went on an afternoon after rain early in the day. Some nice challenges on the swamp trail but trails are well marked. Pretty views even with autumn past peak.

An incredible opportunity to hike and learn about the geological and glacial history just a few minutes out of Syracuse. The trails are well maintained. Even on a hot summer day it feels cool inside the park. Make sure to climb downstairs on the steps to the lake where you can hike the swamp trail. Must see if you are in Syracuse.

A different place to visit than the greenery are the brain shaped rocks here. This place is literally a small jungle in the middle of the city. Deep woods, damp waters and dangerous rocks makes it extraordinary to visit. They have a small visitors center and a children’s park. Washrooms are available ahead of the trails. It’s precautionary to wear good foot gear as the place is quiet slippery and untamed. The place is also pet friendly. Entry ticket is $5. Please visit my channel in YouTube, Tiktok, Instagram for full review of the place.

It's gorgeous all year long. Except the restrooms are not yet open at this time of year. We also wish the playground had swings and that there were more trail maps. Overall, it's a great experience to hike if you have the stamina. I do not recommend this park for guests with leg, ankle, or back issues as there are a lot of difficult trails to climb up and over large rocks and roots. Take care with your footing! But if you're an adventure junkie like me, be sure to bring your camera and some hiking boots with good traction, a walking stick helps too!

Moving up from the Binghamton area to the Syracuse area, we miss the parks with hills and views. Clark Reservation is the exception. It's got hills and rocks and views and several good trails. Doesn't seem to be very crowded. Bug might be the only concern given all the wet areas.

Great nature hike for children. Only a few steps down the long staircase that descends into the reservation we already had to stop to look at the Black and Yellow large millipedes dozens of them roaming around a little area next to the staircase. About halfway around the lake shortly after the swamp Trail interchanges with the Lake Trail my son accidentally stepped on a large turtle not very hard though because it hissed at him to express its displeasure. The bullfrogs are quite large and my boys enjoyed looking at them and listening to them.

Great place to go with the fa.ily and see lots of nature. There are hiking paths for the little ones and if it's just adults there are more adventurous trails to traverse. They have a small playground that is very educational for the kids that gives you a chance to interact with them while teaching them about nature. This is a great place to go with family.

Absolutely breathtaking views and beautifully diverse terrain. From rocky cliffs high above the late to the lowland Glacier Lake. The parking is at the top of the hill with nice overlooks over the area. The trails are mostly very rocky with the lake trail being very uneven but fun to hike. Be weary of the ticks but this park a must go if around the area!

This is so nostalgic to come here. I have been going here for 50+ years. It's hard to believe this cool and natural location is SO close to Syracuse. I would like to say its a historic site but it's really a Pre-historic site. So cool trails and geology to see and wonderful flora and fauna. If you explore deep enough you will even find the "secret " cave they keep on the Down Low.

Great trails to walk on. Some along the cliff trail can be above big falls on cracked rocks. The swamp trail is cool and runs along The swamp but can be hard to follow and some parts will get your feet a little bit wet.

Beautiful first day hike! I've lived 10 minutes away from this place for the last 8 months and I have driven by it, 5 days a week for the last 4 months and never realized how beautiful this place is. I will be going back for more hikes and to picnic.

I've lived within 30/45 min my whole life and finally went today. What a beautiful hike and area to spend time with friends and family. We took the cliff trail which was kinda sketchy in some areas BUT they marked trees and rocks very well, so we felt safe. Those stairs are killer btw lol

I'm a member of the Clark's friends group, so of course I highly recommend it! New members always wanted. There are several trails with varying difficulty, great interpretive signage and an all around great place to spend time with family and friends.

I love this park; it's beautiful. I come here with friends all the time. I have brought my dog and I have brought my younger cousins (there is a park up front). There are many trails here. You can go camping here, though I'm not sure how that works as I have never done it. It's a great place to take pictures. Overall an amazing place.

Love going for hikes here. It is a small place but a jem at the edge of the city. it's nice to be able to go for a hike in the woods just a 15 minute drive from the university area. Make sure to visit in late April and May to see the woodland flowers such as hepatica, yellow trout lily, and bloodroot.

Great winter trails!! Even though it's a wet month, the trails we took were all Stone and roots. Footing was great and pictures were beautiful.

Truly some of my favorite trails and so close to Syracuse and most places in cny.

The high lofty vistas and tricky footing were exactly what a seven year old, dog or even the elusive teenager needs to stay entertained for the mile to 5 mile hikes.

We took the blue "cliff side" trail. LOVE IT.
Only medium as a general difficulty. About 3 miles all said and done but was so pretty. There was one section that has an alternative 30 feet wall "climb" at about a 45 degree angle next to the standard trail.
