Mc Mike’s Burgers & Bakery

I am so excited that I found this place.
The baked products are 10/10, the best croissant I've had in the area. We also got their sandwiches which are made with homemade bread, got the Mediterranean sandwich and it was delicious, great flavors.
We went in to grab burgers but got the sandwiches instead which is great because I can't wait to go back there and eat everything.
Also, everyone is friendly and welcoming.

Amazing quality for affordable prices! Must try their lavender lattes, fresh baked bread and pastries! The blueberry lemon curd croissant was perfection. They have beautiful breads for events! Bread in the shape of Xmas tree, turtle, alligator, wreaths, crab 🦀, and more! Sandwiches are made on fresh baked bread. This spot is a hidden treasure!! They serve breakfast and lunch, their burgers are moist and remind me of "The Habit". Friendly service, support family-owned!

Wow! These breakfast croissants are so good! Buttery and flaky. Also very filling. My husband ordered 2 sandwiches 🐽, both were delicious and used fresh baked bread. They have a current promotion for a free pastry with your meal. I picked a brioche cinnamon roll and honestly it might be the best cinnamon roll I've ever eaten. We will be coming back to this place again and again.

Highly recommend Mc Mike's Burgers & Bakery they have the best pastries and cheesesteaks! 😋 always amazing customer service and welcoming when my family goes there! All of their food has been amazing quality and flavorful.

I only really write reviews when something was either really bad or really good, and especially if a small business hits it out of the park like Mc Mikes did.

The baked goods were SO good, and way beyond my expectations. Often times baked pastries are too dry or lack flavor, and these are the exception. I bought a sampler of items; cookies (the perfect soft lemon cookies, and a shortbread style lavender cookie that doesn’t taste like essential oils?! Yessss, please), 2 breakfast sandwiches (HUGE and delicious), a latte (no disappointment there), and a raspberry pastry that I can’t recall the name of, that had an amazing slightly crispy outside, a soft and fluffy inside (not too dry), and the most mouth watering raspberry jam in the middle. Wow. 10/10, I will never choose the neighboring Starbucks overpriced pastries over yours again. Support local small businesses, especially when it’s somehow both cheaper AND way tastier than corporate options.

Oh! And their $1 sandwich size baguettes are bomb; crisp outside, soft, doughy, bready inside.

Hidden GEM in in North Normandy park. Anyone who chooses the Starbucks next door is missing out on something truly special. They have the biggest, baddest breakfast sandwich you will ever eat! I promise you. I have been in the restaurant business for 20+ years, and you don't find places like this very often.

Words can't do this place justice, but I will say most everything (if not everything) is baked in house. There french rolls that they use on sandwiches (BLT in picture) are exquisite, and there pastries (almond croissant is better than bakery nouveau) are like being in France.

Being a family owned and run business, the customer service is one of a kind. I placed an order during the snow storm and the driver was late picking up the food. They remade my food and included a note (see picture attached).

MC Mikes in Normandy Park is a local favorite. Burgers are really good with homemade buns and Fries are crispy.

Awesome affordable burgers here with homemade fries. Also grabbed a chocolate chip cookie which was also really good. Staff is really inviting and friendly.

The breakfast sandwiches and pastries are delicious! We also got free lattes from the weekly special. They have a wide range of pastries. Very friendly workers!

Oh my gosh, what a wonderful find!! Great quality food and real customer service. I had a Mediterranean sandwich that was perfection. Yeah, for a great lunch spot!!!

I've only tried a few things here, but keep coming back all the time! Their house burger is magic served on buns made onsite. The chocolate croissants are frankly the best I've ever had. Their light and so perfectly crispy. Most recently we tried the onion rings and they'll now be part of every dinner order. They are wonderful! Worth noting, the fries were soggy. 🙁 Otherwise, everything else has been degrees of awesome.

Great little burger place that also is a bakery with some really yummy pastries. Did I mention they make their own buns for the burgers too! Also they make their own basic shakes which are always nice and thick. Definitely a little mom and pops vibe that is worth checking out if you're in the area.

UPDATE:

I went today and it is no longer MC Mike's. The burgers are not as good the fries are not as good and from the looks of it the bakery isn't there either. I don't know when it changed but it's not the same name even. Not really worth your time. The quality of the burger was not good at all and the fries were the little string fries. Just go somewhere else. 🥺 Please bring back MC Mike's! I hope that they just moved or something.

This was our first time at Mcmike's, my husband enjoyed his burger and onion rings. We will definitely be going back.

Delicious bacon egg n cheese sandwich. Nice soft bun and with hash brown for under $8.

This place is a gem! I have enjoyed every single thing I have ordered thoroughly!
The cheese steak is fantastic, the breakfast sandwiches are phenomenal (May I suggest the egg cheese and sausage on a croissant!)
The chicken mushroom sandwich is divine as well, that focaccia bread is a perfect choice.
The only thing I would change is maybe make the fries a little crispier, they are soggy little guys but still pretty good!

A really earnest business. Their stuff is really good quality. Their viennoiserie are really well done and their sandwiches are delicious. I like their breakfast sandwiches and come often on my morning breaks to get a bite. Their lunch sandwiches are really good too, my favorites are the BLT and cheesesteak. Please give them a try.

Run don't walk to this place!! The bakery is divine and a hidden gem. I've never had a better croissant!! So airy, flaky, buttery. Then add a burger or sandwich on homemade bread. I can't wait to go back. Support this local BIPOC business!

Love this hidden gem. Good coffee and fantastic breakfast sandwiches and pastries. Funny seeing so many people in line at Starbucks when there is far better bites and drinks for much better prices on the other side of the curb. Very friendly staff, delicious options, and reasonable prices. Supporting this small business indefinitely.

I think still run by the same lovely people, certainly service is very good. However, it's no longer McMikes but Mr Burger. The bakery is no longer there, they have a sandwich based menu with some breakfast items and sodas.

First time here. Everything was perfect! My burger was excellent, and so were the fries—good selection and delicious. The staff is very friendly. I will come back when I am in the area. Great job, MC Mikes!
