Great food. Stick to the seafood you just can't go wrong. Shrimp Cocktail is my go to. I won't buy that anywhere else. The chips and salsa... yeah, best in town. The bean dip, can't beat it. Just a great sit down for quality food spot in HR

One of the best places to eat in Hood River, if your taste is carne azada, this is the place for good carne azada well-served dishes, very good service and very good prices. highly recommended

This is our Mexican food go to spot. When we are in the mood of home cooked Mexican dishes but don't want to make them at home, this is where we come. Always friendly service, and the food is delicious. We love sitting outside on the patio during the summer.

Bacon wrapped shrimp was off the hook and was only place that offered delivery to my area. They included chips, tortillas, guacamole, pico de Gallo, sour cream, and salsa. Most places don't put this kind of preparation for a delivery order. The veggies under the shrimp were a bonus, amazing dish! Thank you!

We ADORE El Puerto De Angeles! Our fave Mexican restaurant in Hood River. Food is amazing - flavorful and spicy (unlike some places that seem to cater to people with bland palates). Great options, great specials. Never a long wait to sit. Incredible salsa (which I think is home made and we buy from them to take home). Outside seating is lovely on a nice day. Staff are friendly and helpful. If they ever closed, I might have to move.

Was visiting recently from Ireland and on a road trip with our son and grandson who live in Victoria, B.C. Came upon this total ‘gem’. The food was fabulous and the margaritas were divine. The location was beautiful and the service was friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately we did not drive home on the same route so we were not to visit this lovely restaurant again as we would have. I’d highly recommend a visit to this great restaurant to enjoy the food, ambience, location and hospitality.

I ordered something I thought sounded amazing only to find out it was loaded with mushrooms that I don't like. I kept the dish, my fault for not reading completely. They sent over a dish of beautiful fresh oysters while I waited for a second entree. Amazing service and the best margheritas!

Good Mexican food with a surprisingly large number of vegetarian options. Their spinach is really great and has a unique flavor to it (epazote?) which can really bolster some of the dishes. They also have the best house salsa in town and are one of the few delivery options available.

My family ate here twice on a 7-day vacation, once dine-in and once taking out. The food is incredible, as is the service. They graciously let us in to order takeout at 9:05 when we mistakenly thought they closed at 10, but really closed at 9. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Hole in the wall with authentic and tasty Mexican food! 3 of us, die hard mexican food lovers; all had Combo plates and were delicious! The service was attentive and friendly. I’d say they need to melt their Queso dip better as it was stringy but other than that…spot on! Get off the main drag and try it.

Authentic food. Very popular with the locals. Chips and salsa were delicious. Entree was good too; not an overwhelming portion size.

Wow! After driving 2000 miles throughout Oregon and Washington during a 10 day getaway from a border town in SoCa, tried this place based a referral from Hampton Inn.

The salsa and beans that accompany the chips, WOW!
Ordered the #21, with shredded beef and pollo, but ordered Mole on top instead of red Chile sauce.
Good flavor on the sauces of shredded beef. Moist chicken. Rice had some flavor other then rice.
Beans okay but too runny.
Mole, it’s their own recipe. Brown color, some hint of Chile spice, a little sweet and very THIN.
Maybe the owners could visit The Red Iguana in Salt Lake City by the airport, to try 7 different kinds of Mole! All with thick texture.
7 pm when arrived. Seated but only 2 other tables were being used. Some people outside. About 10 minuets passed when a waiter approached, even though a older female waitress was serving the table in front of us 4 times.
But I understand this is somewhat of a resort city and if your not a local, well…….
I can survive with slow service.
Meal presentation was good. Menu seemed too large. Better then most but not Tucson quality. Pricing reflects demographics of the town, which is positive.

Everyone was friendly and attentive, they have a decent selection for non meat eaters. The food tastes quality and the margaritas are top notch! This is my new favorite Mexican restaurant in town!

Love this place. I’m homesick and this place has authentic feel. Mexican music playing, great food, this helps make hood river feel like home.

Friendly service and good authentic Mexican food. Lots of lunch specials priced well. Food came out super hot, fresh and very timely. Indoor and outdoor seating available. They also have a good cocktail menu (not just margaritas) as well as Sangria, wine and beer. Definitely appeared to be a favorite for the locals, too!

When a competing restaurant was closed (despite their hours stating otherwise) I found this little jewel and … so glad I did! The service was friendly and the food so good! They even have bean dip - something I have been searching for ever since my partner and I moved away from our favorite Mexican restaurant in North Carolina. (I recommend mixing the salsa with the bean dip for an amazing, culinary experience!)

Thanks for saving the day! I’ll definitely be back.
