Mercado Guadalajara

My husband and I celebrated our wedding in Hood River, OR back in September. We wanted to incorporate part of our Mexican culture into our wedding and wanted to have pan dulce and flan for dessert. On one our trips to Hood River, we decided to check out Mercado Guadalajara to try out their conchas and flan, and it was so good! Legit Mexican pan dulce and flan. We placed our order a couple days before the wedding and they were ready in time. Some of our guests are still talking about how good the conchas were! Thank you Mercado Guadalajara!

The staff here were very helpful with fruit identification and also brought out super fresh fruit for me. The baked goods were excellent and the variety was great. I don't stop in Hood River often but will stop there next time I am in town for a snack.

The selection is phenomenal, the butcher has excellent cuts for grilling.

I love this place it is like the corner market from the old days and everyone there is so helpful and so polite. And they have an amazing meat department that they cut their meat everyday or they will do special Cuts just for you on request. And the prices there are absolutely amazing.

Love when the place is clean and you can find the food that hits so close to home. A wonderful staff. The butcher had great cuts of meet. The prepared food was hot and had great flavor.

It doesn't take long for the staff to recognize you in the feel like part of the community whether you speak English or Spanish or any other language they'll do their best to help you not only that but the other customers are genuinely polite the deli hot case is awesome and the meat department is on point the bakery is wonderful and you always are surprised by the amount of variety of Mexican breads and sweet cakes

My favorite grocer in Hood River. The bakery section is like a game of delicious Russian roulette. The jalapeno and cream cheese filled rolls are the best! Any grocer with fresh fruit and vegetables, an endless selection of hot sauces and dried chilis, and an entire section of chicharon is OK with me!

Love the tropical produce. This place has only gotten better since the remodel and expansion!

The best fresh fruit and vegetables from California and mexico can be purchased here, without mentioning all the delicious deli and meat.

I like the place. It has a lot of different meats, produce & other items. They have good cakes & baked goods.

Best price in town for fruits and vegetables, a hidden gem. Plus the carnita's out of the meat deli is excellent.

Great place, but i don't know why they stopped making the homemade salsa. Ughhh. Please make it again!!!
