They’re great people! Make you feel like family no matter if it’s your first visit or if you’re a regular. I’d highly highly recommend the butter chicken!!! The desserts are also amazinggg. This business is a true hidden gem! We look forward to trying a cooking class here soon, thanks for everything!

Friendly, family owned business with top notch Indian food! I always stop by when I'm in Roanoke and pick up dinner-to-go from their kitchen at the back of the store. Tonight we had black lentils, paneer curry and chana masala. We also had samosas with tamarind sauce, and gulab jamun for dessert. Everything was so delicious! It's delicately spiced, not too spicy, but just the right amount of hotness to make it all really flavorful.

Three of us headed out for lunch, enjoying dishes like dal, rice, and vegetable biryani, all of which had a delightful taste. What stood out the most was their fantastic customer service, and the prices were also budget-friendly.

Nice and clean store. Its bit smaller as compared to a typical indian store so options may be limited but all major brands are available.

Thrilled to find chat Masala (for fruit) and fennel seeds with a sugar coating (for digestion). The staff was very helpful and very friendly. Very clean and the shelves are well organized. My first visit but I will definitely be back.

First off I stood out a bit because I am a red headed freckled lady. Everyone in the store was great. The gentleman at the register was fantastic. Gave me a new recipe to try with my Paneer. I love to cook and I have to go back because I saw plenty of things I want. They have fresh produce, some beautiful eggplant and other items. I cant say enough great things!!

Nicest lady there! I had very minimal knowledge of what spices I needed. She helped me so much and I even bought something new after she let me try one. Will be back again.

Wonderful Store...run by a wonderful warm and welcoming family. It has a good stock of Indian groceries, few things can be added though. Very spacious, clean and fresh. Prices are good. Had a very good experience overall. I would highly recommend it.

Hands down, this must be the cleanest Indian grocery store in VA! I don’t worry about the freshness of groceries/rice/atta/etc as the staff pays close attention to quality control. Staff and owners are most helpful, willing to go out of their way to assist customers in any way possible. Can’t say enough good things about this store!

LOVE this family owned and operated "ethnic" food store. I came from a much larger city with many options for ethnic cuisine and markets and this is the closest thing I've found in Roanoke to satisfying my need for Kulfi and other things. They even have little free basil plants to take! Very kind staff and owners, always willing to try to stock what I need. I love this place and try to get some cookies and snacks at least every week or so to help keep their doors open. They never make me feel like I dont belong there despite my obvious lack of knowledge about the products they offer. Go in and check it out!

Wonderful market with a wide variety of fresh ingredients and the spice selection is fantastic. The gentleman working the day I came in personally walked me through the store and was so helpful! Definitely a regular stop for me.

Last week I finished reading a phenomenal young adult book with my 8th grade students set in India - The Bridge Home by Padma Venkatraman. I knew I wanted to bring a treat into class but only had the book’s glossary to guide me. The proprietors were so kind and helpful! They sent me on my way with enough khatta meetha snack and gulab jamin for 80! My students loved trying these unique and tasty Indian snacks. Thank you G Market!

This store has almost everything you need to make any Indian dish. Fresh Samosas were good. Staff is very helpful and courteous.
