Kroger

This Kroger always has the best meat and grocery selection in the area. If I can’t find something closer to where we live, I always come here and it is not much further away. ALSO, we love Poppi drinks, and this is the first place I have ever seen the whole selection! We were so excited. Usually I have to go to a few different stores to get everyone’s favorite flavors, but now I will just come here!

Came for Mr. Pibb which is not sold where we live, so we buy when we travel down this way. Also found Colby Longhorn cheese which my wife loves, but the deli just sanitized the slicers. A very nice man with silver hair named Mike got the cheese and sliced it in the meat department for us. Thank you. Greatly appreciated.

Love Kroger, the selection is good, fresh food is fresh and selection is good. Not the best place to get in or out.

If you like beer, wine or cider Altino Morris is the man to speak to at the Kroger’s on Brambleton Avenue. The Kroger’s on Brambleton as you know is referred to as the Gucci Krogers of Roanoke, and Altino is their Connoisseur.

Altino was able to order and get this Charlottesville Va apple cider for me. I couldn’t be more pleased. The day I came in to the store Broddie assistant manager and Ryan in Customer Service assisted me in my purchase. Two thumbs up for the excellent team at the Gucci Kroger’s.

We have shopped at several Krogers locations in the area and none compare to this one. The selection and freshness of the produce and bakery is unparalleled. The meat section was stocked and the cuts of meat looked great. The wine selection was well-organized and had information on pairings and entree suggestions as well. They are our favorite for groceries in Star City. They are the best!

Mike A from the meat department is fantastic! He always goes out of his way to help me find the best pieces of meat. I really appreciate him. Yall got a great employee!

The best Kroger around! Very clean, well-lit, and well-stocked store. They have like a bistro/ready-to order food, and I got chicken tenders, mashed potatoes, green beans, and a drink for like $5.50–it tasted great! All the staff were super friendly and helpful! I had my toddler with me and they saw that I was struggling a bit, so they opened up a checkout lane for me and rang me up very quickly. Then I spilled my drink in the checkout line and they were super nice about it. That my whole experience so much better! Thank you, Kroger!

One of the best Kroger's I've ever been to. It has a bar in it! Usually have some pretty high caliber beers on tap for cheap. Stores also very clean and well organized, not the closest Kroger to me but the closest one I can grab a beer at before I shop or after I get done

The best grocery store in SW Roanoke. This Kroger has the largest selection of food available with decent prices. The addition of a beer and wine bar with no tipping required is surprisingly good. Beers and wines are ever changing among a wide variety. Being able to get a growler to go with my groceries is convenient! Customer service is always a priority at this location.

The Deli Manager, Tim, was so helpful to me when I called to place an order for Christmas Eve. He went out of his way to meet my request. Wish all Kroger’s had employees like Tim!

Always a good selection of quality wines, artisan cheese, good butcher cut steaks and usually fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables. A bit pricey, but that's to be expected. My neighborhood Kroger

The produce was top notch, the staff was beyond friendly and helpful, the store was clean and organized, the cashier looked at my eggs to ensure they weren't broken, and the bag staff took time to bag my items correctly. Highly recommended!

Five stars!!! A well lit and well stocked grocery store. There is a vegan section, an international section, and there are many options to choose from. Prices are reasonable and there are always sales on certain meats and other products.

Always Friendly and helpful... Pharmacy is great store asset and the produce gives options between farm grown or Organic grown produce. Kudos Kroger Co.

This Kroger is nearby to the Cave Springs area and has the best beer selection of any Kroger in the Roanoke area. This Kroger, affectionately known as "The Taj" for its high end style. features a wonderful deli and in house Starbucks.

This particular Kroger is my favorite of the area, even with 3 others in close proximity. The inclusion of a Starbucks inside is what seals the deal. Make sure you check out their discounted beer & wine selection.

Newly renovated store, very good fruits, veggies and meat depts. Nice little beer and wine bar. Only complaint is that parking lot can get very full.

The employees at this Kroger are very friendly, helpful, always cheerful and willng to help in anyway. Even moving across town I will make the drive. And yes Starbucks is a bonus!

I just wanna brag on Eric William's. The discontinued my favorite hot dog chili. I was bummed, not only did he help find something similar but it was $4.99 , he marked it down so I could try it and gave me his wife's way of making chili. I.am 5 months pregnant and was having a severe craving. He really made my day. Thank you again!

Everyone here is friendly. The counter assistants and the cashiers are really nice. Parking spaces seem a little awkward, but hey, it is a mountainous area, so it is what it is.
