Everytime doctor Wilson comes into my room I know it’s going to be a good visit. He always makes sure to stick around until all my questions are answered and all my anxieties are lifted. Olive my bearded dragon never shows any signs of distress when being returned to me. That’s how I know they listen to what I tell them about her individual personality. I wouldn’t trust any other vet clinic with my sweet olive.
Update: Olive recently had surgery with dr Wilson and my respect is even higher for him. Thank you for being so personable and diligent. I also received a drawing of Olive done by one of the volunteers! So fun!

TVC saved our Maverick Man when he got a mysterious illness. High fever, no eating or drinking for days, diarrhea, vomiting. All of his testing and imaging came back normal. The supportive care given here truly saved his life.

I brought my lizard Mango here to be seen for some mouth problems. I had to drive far in because of the lack of reptile vets in the area I’m from and it was well worth the drive! Dr. Wilson was very thorough in his exam of Mango and helped me with everything I needed. It was also very clean and the staff was nice :)

Dr. Wilson and the entire staff at The Veterinary Clinic West are absolutely AMAZING. We made yearly a check up appointment for our fairly extensive snake collection today (01/30/2024). We brought 16 snakes in and Dr. Wilson and Andre went through each one, taking their time, getting weights, checking their mouths, looking them over from head to tail. We got through all 16 in exactly 1 hour from start to finish and they even helped carry containers in and out the start and end of the appointment! Just really great people who know how to make their clients and their animals feel welcome, heard and cared for! We gladly make the hour and a half drive for The Veterinary Clinic West.

Dr William was highly recommended as the only avian vet option.
He has a wonderful vet tech, Liz, who took her time to answer ALL of our questions. Very knowledgeable, and a pet owner herself. She prepped us well for the visit. The clinic is clean, and welcoming. Looking forward to long term bird care for Noot, our cockatiel. <3

Dr. Wilson, exotic pet vet is wonderful. Take ls the time to explain everything and is very knowledgeable in the care of my bunnies and he previously saw my birds.

We always feel welcome when bringing our fur babies in. I don’t think we’ve ever had to wait for long either in the lobby or in the room. They treat our pets like they’re own. It’s hard to find a good and caring vet clinic and they’re for sure the one

Dr. Melinda and Nurse Kelley were so helpful, knowledgeable, encouraging, and kind. Our animals (Bearded Dragon and Ball Python) received better care than my children get from their physician. They took time to answer all of our questions and you could clearly tell that they care that animals are in good homes and being treated properly. Thank you, ladies! I feel much better since this experience.

BY FAR THE BEST VET!!! Reasonable prices! Great for exotic animals! My bunny developed an abscess on he's face a few weeks ago. I decided to take him to TVC for an exam and to evaluate surgical options. The doctor is like an encyclopedia lol. He is extremely knowledgeable and can answer any and every question you may have. Very professional and attentive! Also, moved up the surgery date with out me even asking. I'm very happy with the results and grateful for their help. He looks great and he's back to acting like himself again. Wonderful customer service! I'm forever thankful!

Hands down the best vet in Marietta! Treat your pets as if they were their own. The front desk staff is always super nice and helpful and Dr. Wilson has been such a great find!!

This place is so wonderful! We just took our 2 bunnies in for a check up and their vaccine and we had a great experience. Their team was kind and considerate. They explained everything and handled our babies well. Best vet we have been to in a long time. Highly recommend !

We are a fairly new client with our puppy and cat. The clinic is super clean, easy to get to and Dr. Wilson is super -- so thorough. We have had a positive experience each time and was able to be seen same day once when needed. We came here after being with a wellness plan at a box store for several years and was frustrated with the poor service there (never able to find appts or get pet seen, different vet each time). This is so much better!

I absolutely love this vet! They always take such great care of my sulcata tortoises!

We just moved to the area and wanted to get our senior rabbit in for a wellness visit to establish her at a new practice before we really needed a vet to look at her. Dr. Wilson and the staff were great. The best part was the separate entrance, waiting area, and wing for exotic patients. Having a place separated from the dogs and cats is very helpful in reducing stress and even though some of the noise carries, the whole exotics side of the practice is much quieter and calmer. I was very happy with my visit and am glad we found their practice.

Always love this place. We've taken 5 different animals here, and they have taken great care of all of them.

The office is beautiful & spotless. I've never been to a vet clinic that smelled good, actually had no smell at all which was great. The lady that checked us (myself & bird) was very nice and professional. A little old lady came in with her cat. In the short time I was there the cat lady talked non-stop about every bump, scratch and neurotic tendency the cat had ever encountered. The women at the desk oohed and awed at everything the cat lady said. She was so pleasant and attentive to this little old women. As each doctor and/or staff walked through they greeted myself and cat lady. Very personable. They also have a separate entrance for people with exotic animals...birds, reptiles, etc.
The doctor or vet tech, not sure which, came out and got my little bird with no problem. She jumped right over to her. My young love bird has a tendency to bite but went to the doctor/tech as soon as she reached for her. I only had a nail trim and we were in and out within a few minutes. They office had me right from the start and the staff really won me over. 🌟🌟

They are always kind, helpful, Doctor Wilson and staff take wonderful care of our animals. I wouldn't go to any other Vet. I have been with them for about 6 years or more. I always tell family and friends to use them for there pets. They take care of all kinds of pets not just cats and dogs.

I took my dog here after I was recommended to TVC West by a local. My dog had some GI tract issues which had been going on for over a week. While they didn’t have any open appointment slots, they did me a huge favor by squeezing me in as soon as they could. I think they could tell I was concerned about my dog’s health over the phone and I appreciate that they were concerned enough to get us in ASAP. They did a thorough exam and gave him some medication that seems to be working great with no side effects. Also worth mentioning that I had all this done, including medication, under $200 which is very reasonable. We will be back for sure, thanks!

These people have been nothing but amazing to me and my babies. The receptionists, techs and doctors all have been so kind to us. Ive been in Atlanta for about a decade and I finally found a place I feel comfortable with taking my furry babies. I no longer have to wait to go back home (Puerto Rico) to take them to the vet. They have been a life saver with my exotic pet (rabbit) twice already! I super grateful for them.

I have been coming to this vet for almost 10 years now, and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Each time I bring in my rottweiler, we are treated with kindness and attention (and no bully breed stigma!), and my boy Roscoe shows him his love in return.

Now that he's getting older (11 years), he's had issues with his joints. Recently, he started limping. Luckily, we already had an appointment for his annual shots 2 days later, so we addressed this limping at the appointment. He was x-rayed and examined and prescribed 2 different medications (for pain and inflammation) for soft tissue damage from a ligament tear. After he seemed to be getting worse by the next week (yelping in pain, occasionally throwing up his food), we called the office, and they were able to squeeze us in for a check up. We requested sedatives since he was not resting well and seemed agitated at home, so we left with this new medication in addition for more for pain and inflammation. The following week, he still wasn't getting better or putting weight on his foot, so they were able to squeeze us in again. They took additional x-rays and determined that due to his age, he could take 4-6 weeks to heal. We're now 3 weeks after his initial exam, so we hope he will show signs of getting better soon. If not, I know the vet will make time for us again. They're the best and really care about our pets/family.

The care given to us was phenomenal, the ability to be seen quickly for check ups was incredible, and the cost was not excessive. I never feel that I am being taken advantage of at this vet, and I trust them fully.

I live right in the middle of this location and the one further west, across from The Avenue shopping center, so this review will be posted for both locations.
