Lidl

My new go-to supermarket. I love their prices and their name brand items are just as good as others. When I shop at this store I feel like I get more bang for my buck....my monies goes a longer way...in comparison to when I shop at the other well known supermarkets. Never disappointed with the selections...good wines, cheese and fresh baked bread. Don't want to give too much away lest it will no longer be my best kept secret. Lidl, in my humble opinion, is a higher end Aldi.

We shop here all the time. The store is always clean and has amazing deals in terms of produce. Staff is always friendly. Despite sometimes having long lines at check out, you’re usually able to move through pretty quick. My wife and I love looking through their seasonal section as well. Always some interesting finds.

I love Lidl! I am usually an Aldi shopper but Lidl has all the things I usually go to another grocery store for and the great prices of Aldi, combined. Plus Lidl has the best bakery for cheap. I love their pretzels and rolls. I love taking home a load of bread and making sandwiches. The best!

Lidl is always exciting for me, looking for things usually sold in Germany which I miss.

Love it!! So happy to have a Lidl closer to me. Their Italiamo Tomato Sauce with Basil is one of our family's fave pasta sauces!

Great bargains with many international finds. Inexpensive cheeses, weekly specials and discounts by getting their Lidl app. Much less overall choices than bigger groceries like Sprawl-Mart or Kro-Magnon! Clean and helpful staffers.

I fell in love with Lidl over multiple trips to Europe over the years, then passed by this one after hours on the way to visit family in Marietta. Finally I was able to visit to see how it compares to the fantastic Lidl stores overseas.

First of all, the bakery. This is flat out amazing. More pretzels than you can shake a stick at. Multiple baguette options. Hazelnut filled croissants. Pain au chocolate. Man, everything I stop by a Lidl for in the mornings when traveling, they have. Except for the vending machine that dispenses lattes in the front, they've got it. The other good thing is I went later in the afternoon, and there was plenty of everything in the bakery. This doesn't happen in Europe. They bake in the morning, and are mostly sold out of the good stuff in the afternoons and evenings.

As far as the rest of the market is concerned, I was pleasantly surprised. They have their own store brand meats, yogurts, cheese, etc that you would expect if you were in one overseas. It is difficult for me to express just how pleasantly surprised I was with my recent experience here. Everywhere I turned, if the aisles weren't so wide, the ceiling wasn't so high, and the store so well lit I'd have been fooled into thinking I was in Dublin or something. This is my new go-to grocery store in the area.

My only complaints are that 1) there isn't a wall of German sparkling mineral water. They have some sparkling water options, but they're in cans and flavored. I want to pop open a case and grab a liter or two. What is alkaline water? Why is Shaq's face everywhere? I don't get it. Other complaint is 2) the cashiers aren't fast enough. I want to see either a Czech babushka or a German teenager glaring at me because I can't bag my items fast enough.

This might be expensive, but Lidl US should consider sending their cashiers on international trips for training. If that is too much, please consider doing like in Ireland and hiring foreign labor. I was at this store around 7:30pm on Monday, August 22nd 2022.
i had just worked 3 days x 12 hours at the hospital and was exhausted.
When trying to load the box with my groceries in my car, the cart started running away towards the street, and I half dropped the box trying to catch it and spilled a bunch of my groceries into the parking lot, and several items also made a trip down the hill 🤬
The store manager was SOOOOO nice and let me replace the food items that were now dirty and saved the night.
I really appreciate the kindness. 😊

This Lidl is conveniently located on the westside of Marietta. There is a good onsite bakery with fresh breads and pastries. Produce is fresh and priced right . Good prices on milk and eggs. A mixed selection of frozen foods. They often have a selection of flowers, plants and seasonal items.

Love Lidl, I wish we would have them in Florida.

This relatively new Lidl did a good job. It had all of the sale items available, store was clean, and I was in and out in minimal time. I am finding that trying to unload groceries, pull up the app code, using a credit card, and then self packing makes the checkout process extra busy. There should be a way to tie your account automatically to your credit card so you can skip the app part, especially with that reader hiding behind the plexiglass with such a small opening.

This Lidl is awesome. Way better Kroger.

I've been a regular shopper since they opened here in the US. Setup like Aldi's, but is much better to me. Love their bakery, household products and great food deals. Most of their Lidl brand food is delicious and beats the name brand comparable products hands down in price. Bring you on bags. Wish they did curbside pickup or were on Instacart like Aldi's.

I love shopping at Lidl! Always low prices and you never know what you'll find. Everything from food to clothes and exercise equipment. If you haven't shopped here I'd highly recommend it. Now know that you have to purchase your own bags or bring them with you. It's cool because it helps them to keep the prices low. And bring extra money because like I said you never know what you'll find. But be sure to add it into your shopping budget.

Amazing quality rock bottom prices. This place is the bomb. You must shop here if you want to save money. If you want to keep throwing money away continue to go to Publix or Kroger or Trader Joe's.

LIDL is always a good time just exploring to see what is new. Prices are not bad, but you still need to compare with other Supermarkets.

Very nice store , very friendly staff and I like to give a big thanks to this young African American Cashier ( I think his name is Niquelon) He helped me to save some money on my shopping with pointing things out to me...thanks very much I appreciate it a lot.

First time in. Great prices. Limited selection on some things, not much big name brand stuff. Nice bakery. Big frozen food section. Lots of meat and fish. Go there first and then you can go somewhere else to get what they don't have. Worth it.

Love all the different things they have at Christmas time.
