Princess & Bear bring to Seattle the very best wine that Languedoc has to offer - tastefully, intelligently and joyously. Their Mediterranean Club is a “must join” for variety, quality and value. And then there’s their 9 day get together in the south of France every fall. Done it once, looking forward to a repeat.

I couldn't believe this place was in south Seattle and right by my old work. I wish I knew of this place when I worked in Georgetown! I worked down there for over 12 years and I didn't know it existed. I would've been a regular. It's the cutest little place to try wine that is outside of the states. All their wines are from Languedoc-Roussillon a region of France and it makes it unique. Wines you can't find anywhere else. It's great and we tasted a few and they were delicious. They had a sparkling wine that I just loved and bought. If you want a great vibe and fun atmosphere go there. The service was exceptional and they were very knowledgeable. I didn't get a chance to meet the owners and to get more information on the finding of their business so I hope the next time I go they will be there. Great spot and I hope people flock here!

Went here for a Yelp Elite event and was so impressed with their wines!! We loved the sparkling brut so much we had to get a bottle to-go afterwards. We also tried a white & red wine as a part of the tasting, and loved the inside of the store - everything was so aesthetic and small intimate setting. Will definitely be back to try more of their wines!

This hidden little gem in the South Park neighborhood of Seattle is absolutely a tasting room that any wine enthusiast should know about! Not only are their wines delicious, but there staff is so incredibly nice and VERY knowledgeable. They even have a Master French Wine Scholar as part of their team. And this is the ONLY place in the country featuring wines solely from the Languedoc-Roussillon region of France. They import small batch, affordable and uniquely delicious wines from over 40 independent French winemakers. These Artisinal vintages from small family, primarily female-owned, vineyards cannot be tasted anywhere else in the country. Lucky us, that means that we get the exclusive opportunity to try before we buy. And their wine club options are also amazing. Go check it out, but leave a spot for me. ; - )

I recently went here for the first time for a Yelp event. The event was a success. The place is very lovely. The staff was welcoming and knowledgeable. Will definitely be back here and highly recommend this place.
There is good amount of parking in the premises.

Over all the experience was really fun, the wine is reasonably priced and all enjoyable. A word of warning to those with nut allergies, even though the cheese board did not list nuts on the menu, they were still on the board.

We had dinner at Osprey with The Princess and the Bear wine pairings. Together, they are the best kept secret in South Park! Don’t miss the delicious eats and intentional rose!

We’re members of the wine club and enjoy our wine pickup tastings. Kudos to Kyle for his hosting skills! We always find a few more wines we like and “have to” bring home.

We ventured out to Princess and Bear for the first time today and left with two bottles of wine, a wine club membership, and a renewed sense of excitement about our growing neighborhood community. We’re very excited to have this bright, airy, modern space with great wines just a few steps from our front door! Delicious, interesting French wines at an affordable price point, with friendly, knowledgeable staff and a great café and a brewery next door? Amazing. (Don’t forget to check out Left Bank, too— another amazing spot and a neighborhood fixture in the growing collection of South Park gems.) Princess & Bear is a welcome addition and we can’t wait to meet more neighbors there again soon!

Wow! What a fabulous new tasting room! I felt instantly transported to a sophisticated, authentic French wine bar! The staff here are so warm and friendly and the wines I tasted and learned about were so delicious!

What a wonderful find! I know much about Washington wines, but not much about French wines. Princess and Bear offers a delightful peek into what some of France has to offer. Wonderful blends, not held back by "rules." Simply delightful!
