Marshall Park

Small viewpoint or as they call a tiny green oasis, marshall park offers the best place to the majestic views of the Sound and Seattle’s greenery from the Queen Anne hill. There are a couple benches to sit and relax, read a book when weather is sunny or indulge in beautiful rainbows when it’s rainy sunny! I have seen some of the best sunsets and moon sightings from here. Can come at any time of the day to enjoy a beautiful neighborhood walk as well. Walk your dog, bike by it, run by the side, take good photos, make memories. Located right across the street from Parsons garden, I recommend visiting this spot.

Its a nice small view point overlooking the Sound and the mountains. The sunset is gorgeous from here. There are a few benches to sit and take in the view.

View is stunning, never too crowded.

Marshall Park is an under rated gem due to its smaller size. Usually it is upstaged by the better known Kerry Park down the road…but this parks view during sunset is pure gold. This park is better known by locals, and is typically less crowded. If you’re in the area, it’s a must see during sunset.

Great place to watch the sunset, ferries, and other ships in the sound. It also has a great view of the Olympics. Only a short walk from Kerry Park, but much smaller park. Continue down the street and enjoy the globe lights and more views of the Olympics.

Tiny little park with a good view over Magnolia. On a clear day, you can see the Olympics in the distance.

A very nice view can be had of Puget Sound and the Olympics from this park. Large Ocean Cruise ships also park at the foot of the hill which can make for a pretty nice shot. Just a short walk from the very busy city view photographers site Kerry Park. Oddly enough very few of the Kerry Park photographers ever walk down the street to Marshall Park, so you will probably have it all to yourself.

An unmatched view, in walkable distance from Kerry Park. As a Queen Anne resident, this is my favorite view. Absolutely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

Gorgeous views! It's a tiny park with just a few benches to offer besides the fantastic views. You won't see the Space Needle from here, neither any of the city skyline that kind of stuff, but the sight of Puget Sound and Elliot Bay waking up in a pink sunrise is so soothing and peaceful. Even the cruise terminal and Magnolia bridge seems more gentle and likable from distance.

View at 6PM last week. Really beautiful view. Really cold, considering the elevation. What a lovely view of the city and the surrounding ranges.

Small park, great for watching the sun set

A short walk from the famed Kerry Park, but with its own great views!

Fabulous views over the sound all the way out to the Olympic mountains. Couple benches to sit and admire the amazing panorama.

Wow, and I thought nearby Kerry park was cool. This has to be one of the best places to take great sunset photos. Several benches to sit on to take in the view.

And it's beautiful. It's a great place to sit in sun, walk or run around.

Pretty quite and close to Kerry Park.

Never ceases to awe me! Just look for a time when the Olympic Mountains are visible (more beautiful at sunset) and start walking from Kerry park.. keep your eyes fixated on horizon at the end of the road and enjoy the beauty till you reach the park and say... Doesn't matter the size, it's one of the prettiest spots in Seattle!

While lacking the Space Needle, Mt Rainier, and city views of its near neighbor, this park offers excellent views of Elliott Bay and the Sound.

It is also far less crowded. Even with tour busses a short flat walk away the tour groups miss out on incredible sights just a few steps away.
