A wonderful local independent drug store. Steve, Liz and the other staff are all very friendly and helpful. They live up to the high ratings of other Google reviews. They even offer local artists greeting cards, as well as a full selection of special occasion cards. In addition to all the pharmacy and OTC supplies, they have flip flops, glasses and recliners! A pleasure to have visited and met them.

In from out of town and was not prepared to have a medical issue. The people here were incredibly friendly and helpful. They were reasonably priced too. I would recommend using this pharmacy!

Bear Drugs is the best pharmacy I've ever used - by far! After 20 years relying on Steve, Laura and the great staff without a single problem, why would I go anywhere else? Besides quick, accurate prescription work, there are amazing new products all the time, great greeting cards, excellent grade CBD oil products and original art items. I always feel like I've been cared for by a friend when I leave Bear Drugs because they go out of their way to be of service, including opening up late at night so I could pick up a breathing device and meds for my dad when he was ill. I cannot image any other pharmacy here even coming close to this level of care.

Steve and his wonderful staff have been meeting and exceeding my pharmacy needs since the 1980s. I drive right past the large nationwide pharmacy chains to shop at Bear Drugs. The kind, friendly and knowledgeable staff are a pleasure to interact with. They alwys make sure that i am familiar with any new prescriptions I may get. My prescriptions are always filled ina timely manner. If there is a wait the time spent is pleasurable. It is much like hanging around at the old country store. You always see someone who is familiar. If not Bear Drugs customers are very friendly and there is always interesting conversation taking place. Bear Drugs customers are always happy to be in the store which leads to a comfortable atmosphere. Bear Drugs prices on medications almost always are lower than the national chain pharmacies. I urge all locals and visitors alike to give Steve and his staff the opportunity to serve your pharmaceutical needs. You will be happy that you did when you walk away feeling well taken care of.

I have been using Bear Drugs since I moved here in 1984. The owner Steve always remembers who you are and say hello whenever he sees you. The staff knows who you are and always suggests generics when they can to save you money. They have a great selection on greeting cards that is so much easier than going to a chain. The few times that I have had to go to the national chains in town I remember why I love Bear Drugs.

Steve and Bear Drugs has taken care of my family's prescription needs for decades. He's seen us through good and bad times and has always treated us with the kindness and concern of a friend. I would not ever consider going anyplace else.

I take a prescription on a regular basis and have for many years. I've moved a lot for work so I've been in a ton of pharmacies! The only other that comes close is Hayes Barton in Raleigh. When I lost my drug coverage last year, I assumed Walmart was my best bet. Thankfully, they were so difficult to deal with I decided to try Bear Drugs. They are cheaper and so much faster, friendly and on top of my needs. My prescriptions are crucial to my day to day life. I wouldn't go anywhere else on the Outer Banks! I drove from Grandy because I trust and appreciate them that much!
