Walmart Supercenter

Well stocked compared to our local Walmart at home. Especially impressed with the variety of pet products! From pet food & treats to toys, bath and flea treatments, they had it all! Nothing we needed was out of stock! Best Walmart I've visited anywhere to date.

I've never seen such a nice Walmart! Everything is well organized and clean.

We were on vacation and completed a grocery scan as you go order for $650. We had to stop at the register before leaving for the weighted items to be entered. The two staff members were extremely helpful and although they were not sure how to fix the issues we were having they were completely and 200% willing and engaged in their jobs and helping us be satisfied customers! I cannot thank them enough as this was a stressful time we were just arriving in North Carolina from New York after a long drive and needed to get our shopping done and then head to the condo in Cape Hatteras. this is by the way the closest Walmart to Cape Hatteras which is about an hour and a half away!!! when we thought everything was going to go wrong they just made everything right for us. I wish I could remember their names. Thank you Walmart Kitty hawk!!! I totally recommend anyone stopping here if they were heading into the outer Banks especially the Cape Hatteras area. They have everything you need here!!!!

Didn't find a roof rack bag.. but good selection when you plan in advance and order online

Jeff was very helpful! We came in looking for a stainless steel stock pot to do crab legs. It showed 2 in stock online. But not to be found anywhere in the store. Jeff in sporting goods/fishing was up To the task of checking in the back. Took him a little bit, but he found it! Worth the wait. Also- while
We were waiting, a second employee Ewan noticed we may be waiting and asked to help! He too was up for the task and offered to go help! Great teamwork! Excellent customer service! So refreshing to see these days where service can be super questionable. Thank you so much! Reward these guys

This is the first time I have ever gone to a Walmart on the beach.. everything like the west of the Walmarts but a little bit more!! Boogie boards, styro surfboards, more beachwear, more tropical fruits etc.. sunblock, sunhats,sunglasses, you name it!! Clean and organized.

This Kitty Hawk Walmart is one of the nicest ones I've been to. Its always clean and neat, even in busy tourist season. I have never seen clothes put in incorrect areas or on the floor unlike the new Target in the OBX. The fruits and vegetables are phenomenal and the bakery is divine. The deli is great too. They keep up on their stock of products too which isn't an easy thing with employee shortages these days. I've seen employees that have been there for many years. With this kind of employee longevity they must be one very well oiled machine. A great Walmart!!

Nice, yes this is a Wal-Mart but the added local items are great. There are seasonal items, a beach store and they only use paperbags...good for the environment!

I know that it can be a madhouse this time of year, but I need to say.. thankyou, maybe I got the good ones, but the employees that waited on me, ( I was doing a return, were, fast, efficient, friendly and I yes I had my receipt, which really does help if you run into a issue, they refunded my cash back, quickly and with a smile..which as a local, I much appreciated, I read some of the bad recent reviews, I guess I was lucky, for there was no issue, only kudos for quick, helpful service, and by the way.. my last online order, was the same, I am going thru treatments and wasn't feeling well.. I got to the line, a kind worker, took my name, went to the pickup area upfront, and brought out my order, never needed to go in, he has helped in the past, and I can't express my thanks enough.. so , there is many awesome employees, it's a crazy busy time right now, but I think there doing there best, and in my case more than that.. thank you.. I felt really impressed to let that be known and let all who are working in a stressful time know, I appreciate you .*9/8/2020... I think the Kitty Hawk Walmart has come along way..the selections are always good, prices reasonable or better if you go online for discounts, and customer service.. above and beyond, the assistant manager"John? I believe was his name, helped me tremendously with a phone, and others have been just as great in the past , also the new check-in for online purchases cant be beat, so easy to shop, pay, then checkin online and your item is ready for you by the time you get to the store..for those on the go, or if like me, unable to get around easy, it is a great help * and I can keep shopping and not wait hours to get help or my item. Thank you Walmart' keep up the great work. You have a loyal customer with me. 10/28/20 again you have shown what great customer service you have.. I had a return item, and with my receipt (which I recommended saving) gave me my cash back, and I was able to get a different product, ( this item was defective) no big hassle, just kind, and quick service, again I say.. thank you.. even as much as savings or items, the customer service keeps me a loyal customer. 5 stars all the way.

Clean, friendly staff, she tried to help us the best she good with the lotto machine. Very well stocked shelves. People!!!!!! If you have children please pay them attention in this Walmart. It’s to nice to be messed up with unruly children throwing stuff off the shelves.

I needed to fix my glasses and thought of Walmart right away. When I entered the store, I saw Nichelle and asked her where I’d get a kit with screws and all. She didn’t point where the product was, she actually took me there! Kudos to you, Nichelle. You definitely deserve a promotion. We need more people like you in the world. Clean, organized and has more items than most Walmarts inland.

outdoor recreational toys were on sale and patio furniture and accessories were too. bought an umbrella for the beach.

This Walmart is the only big general merchandise store on the islands. Good products at good prices. Best time for locals to shop is after 7pm to closing on Friday. Or purchase online and pick-up early in the day (make sure you check your pick-up order carefully). Locals know to avoid this place on Saturday-Monday. The pharmacy has really good people and their prices are some of the best on the islands.
