Duck Donuts

We try to find a donut shop whenever we are someplace new. These might be a tied for our favorites ever! So yummy and thebkids thought it was cool to see the "donut machine". The young man making the coffee was super busy but did a great job of getting customers taken care of!

This is just a great place! We've been fortunate enough to celebrate a few birthdays while in the OBX. And when we do, we celebrate with Duck Donuts rather than cake! The fresh donuts are just plain superior! And topping are magic!

OMG... The best place ever... Fresh n hot donuts made to order not really bring home donuts better to eat them there while they are fresh n hot.... They are pricey but VERY MUCH WORTH EVERY CENT....

We had to bring some home to Jacksonville Florida but they don't taste the same as great n hot... But don't get me wrong they were still worth the trip home..

Mine were the sugar and cinnamon with the apple slices in the middle and the peanuts on top the one I always get always enjoy kind of skimped on the apples this time but still worth it.... Enjoy we did

A MUST TRY IF YOU NEVER HAVE! A great tradition for those who love Duck NC!! Amazing donuts and wonderful staff who are always more than happy to help!!

Staff were busy with several dozen orders ahead of us but never made us feel rushed, were very friendly and despite a busy expedite, we had our half dozen very quickly. We've been to several Ducks all over various locations, this was a great visit. My son loves watching them made right in front of us. Delicious warm and freshly made, and equally delicious letting the box sit for an hour or two and eating later!! A family favorite and SO many options to make your own.

My first time at Duck Donuts! What a delight! Yes they are pricey and it is kind of hard to figure out what you want at first. But it was really neat watching them make the donuts. It was so yummy and fresh. And getting to eat hot donuts. Wow! I'm hooked. Loved it.

Well, what do say that hasn't been said about Duck Donuts .
How about a religious experience. All I heard was OH MY GOD !! How good they were . For the people who gave one star for service, get a life the donuts alone are 5 star and restaurant business has been behind since covid fining good people or haven't you heard . To take away 4 stars is a total shame... Also I noticed that all the low reviews had less than 10 reviews. Maybe they need to go out more so they can see what bad service really is .

As a North Carolinian (Krispy kreme), living in Boston (Dunkins)..what I can say is... World class donuts that have world class taste. Worth the visit to try these!

It does take some time with them being busy and making them after you order so it is not a quick in and out but worth the wait.

Holy Cow!!! The breakfast sandwiches are made from donuts. I had an egg, sausage, and cheese with donuts as the bread with maple drizzle and chopped bacon topping it all. I am not a huge cake donut fan, but these were so light and fluffy and moist. They are made right in front of you at the store, super duper fresh!!! For a donut or multiple donuts, you can order them topped ANY way that you want!!! It is unbelievable. Duck Donuts OBX rules.

Donuts were made fresh to order, they have a lot of options to choose from. The donuts were so soft and cake like consistency it was so good warm! Definitely a good place for breakfast. I also got a bacon egg and cheese on a donut that was pretty delicious!! It was so good I didn’t even get pictures!!!

Duck donuts is a must have if your visiting the OBX. There’s a donut for everyone. We got a dozen of the “campfire” assortment and ordered online to beat the crowd. It was Monday morning which is bound to be busy, but luckily the online ordering tells you exactly how long it’s going to take. I also liked the online order rack where they put the orders when they’re ready, it makes pick up suuuuper easy. We went grocery shopping while we waited… SOOO WORTH “the wait!!”

How could you ever rate a hot custom donut bad?

Hot and fresh off the line with tons of tasty options, which means you have to wait a few minutes to have them made, so have patients people there’s magic happening here!

Great combination of flavors, I like the maple bacon and lemon coconut!

But after you pick your favs always go assorted!

Shop is also nice and clean and the staff was great!

We love going to this Duck Donuts every year. The staff is great with curious kids and we all like watching the donuts being created. If you travel to OBX it is a must!

Such excellent donuts! Loved being able to see them being made fresh and they sure tasted like it. So many choices, all equally delicious. Best part though was the iced southern pecan coffee!!

Duck Donuts does not disappoint! Maple Bacon was my favorite.

Like this location, very convenient to when we stay in Kitty hawk. There was a very short wait which is great for a sunday. Everything was fresh and delicious and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Awesome fresh donuts! There can be a long wait time, so be sure to order ahead online/through the app to save yourself some time. You can pick up your order without waiting in line!

First time visitor from out of state! It was so good!! Got a six pack of mixed flavors loved every one! Warm and delicious.

Duck Donuts had a line when I got there at opening. The donuts did not disappoint. They were cake donuts that are made to order and best eaten warm. All though warm is the preferred way to go, they are still tasty cold. The staff was friendly and efficient.
