Hilton Garden Inn Outer Banks/Kitty Hawk

I came here with my family for a vacation trip and our experience was quite delightful. The rooms looked well-maintained and had a good presentation. We were accommodated with comfortable beds, a good balcony view, and a sufficiently spaced room. Even though, we didn’t have a sea-front view, my family still woke up to a great sunrise and the view still looked great showing a part side of the ocean. The surrounding of the hotel is very nice as it’s situated right near a beach and has good restaurants nearby. My family was able to enjoy a nice beach walk in the morning. The management provided great hospitality, and the only thing you might notice here during your visit is that one side of this hotel is currently under construction. However, this didn’t really impact our experience and just shows that it’s a small hotel.

I stayed at this hotel last week for a couple of nights. Yes it is under renovation on one side and in the main lobby but it is not really a problem. As for the restaurant it is open as take out only but there are few tables/chairs by their meeting rooms you could eat there. I had breakfast every day. Great view of the ocean and beach from the rooms. Great location too. When the renovation is done I think they said in March it will be all new updated rooms. Great indoor pool and hot tub too. Great private fishing pier too was great to walk on even in the winter.

My husband and I stayed here last night and were so pleasantly surprised. We were looking for a pet friendly hotel, and it exceeded our expectations!

First and foremost, it was so clean! Secondly, we felt very well-accommodated with our dog. They prepared our room and put a special pet cover on the couch, plus gave us a little cookie for our pup. There was a large grassy pet relief area with poop bags and disposal station. Our dog loved the hotel and we loved being able to bring her with us.

The bed was also super comfortable, and we had an incredible view in our ocean-front room. We left the curtains open and got to watch the sunrise from bed.

The location was convenient and right near the entrance to the island, so it was easy to run errands. Plenty of things within walking distance too! We found a nice little bar about a mile away that allowed dogs, and we had a great time.

Will definitely stay here again in the future.

The hotel is undergoing renovations and we’d love to come back once it’s done. Oceanfront room is definitely worth it, amazing view, beautiful sunrise. The staff was super nice and the room/bed was very comfortable.

We had our first stay here this weekend and had a great experience. The room we had reserved had been damaged by previous tenants and the staff was very accommodating getting us into another room. The hotel overall was super clean, there was sanitizer and antibacterial wipes all over the whole building for everyone's use. The lobby was very nicely decorated and clean! The restaurant staff was also so super friendly as well and the food was amazing. We enjoyed the indoor hot tub and the views from our balcony did not disappoint. Thank you for a great experience, we will definitely be back!

They are doing construction and the front entrance was closed but they had clearly marked signs on where to go to check in. The room was clean and the ocean front view was spectacular. Every morning between 730am and 830am we could see dolphins jumping right off our balcony. I have stayed here before the renovation and would recommend and return.

Beautiful view outside of our room. Balcony looked straight at the ocean!! We were on the 5th floor and could leave our sliding glass door open to enjoy the sound of the ocean. Room was clean and looked newish. Front desk staff was so friendly and helpful!

We stayed here for the NYOTB '24 hosted by VusicOBX. The staff here was great! I hope that we can do more events like this in the future with this property.

Edit: definitely check the hot tub and indoor heated pool, or be crazy like me and take a dip in the ocean (which is only steps away!) on new years day!

Great location and the ocean front rooms make the experience extra nice. We could watch the sunrise from the comfort of our room. Tub grout had some staining (mold?) But otherwise the room was very clean. Nice location if attending a wedding at the Kitty Hawk Pier.

I enjoyed my stay! The front desk employees are so welcoming and helpful. Raven took extra time helping me pick the perfect room for my budget and never showed any irritation at my indecisiveness. I loved the room Raven suggested for me! Also, the meal ordered from the on-site restaurant was delicious! Will return!

Just returned from a two night three day stay, and it did not disappoint. The staff, bartenders, waiters, etc. were all super friendly.

The bathroom shower/tub could be a bit cleaner (some hairs were still hanging out), but I know it's really impossible to get everything perfect.

The location of the hotel is perfect for going to things north or south. The breakfast was very good and priced to keep you in the hotel. We were surprised (in a good way) that was the case. The coffee station is great and appreciated.

We reserved a room with the ocean view, and frankly, it's worth it. The sunrise is just amazing, and the moon was full, so it was a spectacular view.

We will certainly stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful long weekend!

Visited OBX for a music festival and this hotel was absolutely amazing at meeting needs. The staff were so friendly and the views were unbeatable. Must stay anytime you visit kitty hawk.

We stayed at the Hilton for several nights and had a great experience.

The room was spacious, the view of the ocean was beautiful, the bed was comfortable, the shower was hot, the Internet was responsive, and the air-conditioner worked great. That pretty much checks off everything you need at a place where you're staying just to crash in the evening.

Their location right on the beach is great too. Very convenient if you want to go out and sunbathe or swim in the ocean. Unfortunately we didn't have the opportunity to use the pool, but it looked nice as well.

Loved staying here! The access to the beach and overall location was great! Only fault was the bathrooms could have been a bit cleaner. But the rooms were surprisingly big!

We booked in Kitty Hawk last minute. Hotel was great, location can't be beat, the rooms were clean and comfortable! The pool was to warm for us (like bathwater) though. There were a decent amount of jelly fish when we were there but it just depends on the wind and currents. Close to a lot of food options and right across the street from Duck Donuts!

I loved staying here. You are steps away from the beach, minutes away from food, and they have their own restaurant. The staff is amazing and they do everything they can to accommodate you. However, the best part was the view in my rooms. Deluxe Oceanfront view rooms are worth every penny.

We booked our room here at the very last minute after the pool at our original hotel was closed for maintenance. The staff here was great. The hot tub is huge and perfect for this time of year. The pier is a great amenity. We really enjoyed the restaurant in the hotel and our waitress was very nice. Our 8 year old son wants to be a chef and he really enjoyed being able to see into the kitchen. The maintenance staff here was also very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is very conveniently located and oceanfront. It's very centrally located allowing you to be close to restaurants and attractions. We visited the Wright Brothers Museum which was super close.There's shopping nearby as well. Clean, friendly staff typical Hilton hotel chain.

Extremely satisfied during my recent stay. Room was oceanfront and perfect for enjoying the beautiful beach sunrise. My room was also clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Jeremy Miller was fantastic to work with. The hotel was decorated beautifully for the holidays. Parking was easy to maneuver and I felt safe parking my vehicle under the parking lot lights.
