Linda the owner is an AMAZING BEAUTIFUL AND DOWN TO EARTH soul! There was the slightest snafu and her promptness to rectify it was impeccable!

Atmosphere was beautiful!

Now the best thing on the menu, yes I am biased, was the cheesecake! Growing up my Grandma made me a special cheesecake for my birthday. This was the first cheesecake I have EVER had since the passing of my Grandma in 1999 that LITERALLY tasted like hers! I had a whole emotional moment tears and all after the first bite! I had my cousin and mother take a bite and they too agreed that this authentic cheesecake was ironically close to hers. I am here on a weekend getaway but plan to buy a whole cake to share with my father...he might shed a tear too!

One of the best experiences in three visits to OBX. We've gone to a dozen different restaurants and this was by far the best. From us coming to the business an hour early (they still came to check on us as we were walking away) to bring the pups water first thing, this was the start of something wonderful. We came back the next day with another couple and our two dogs. The service, food, and atmosphere were just exceptional. I cannot think of a single thing that wasn't just perfect that evening. I won't go into all the dishes, drinks, and deserts but there wasn't a single person at the table not saying, wow, oh my, yum, try this, etc. One of our friends who typically eats half a plate and rarely a full desert completely devoured his meal and a big slice of chocolate cake. We'll absolutely come back to this restaurant every time we visit. Thank you for an amazing evening!!

Great service and terrific food. I had the jambalaya and the flavor was so good. Tawnee had the trigger fish. She said that it is the best fish and chips she had ever had. My mother had the Amber Jack and really liked it. It was mild and delicious. My sister had the shrimp boat liked it also. This was our second time here and it has not disappointed. We will definitely eat here again the next time we are in Kitty Hawk.

Great dinner here last night! We had the seafood bisque and it was the perfect temp, full of seafood chunks and smothered in lobster sauce. Delish! We also had the lobster salad and Mediterranean salad—both excellent. Attentive, timely service topped off with a view of the ocean. Enjoy!

Great location and ocean view from the top deck. Excellent seafood and other entrees. Clam chowder and seafood bisque are exceptional. Hush puppies excellent. Great mahi mahi dishes. Creative salads. Cocktail menu superb - traditional mojito simply the best. Mikey was personable and very attentive. A must-stop.

First and foremost, the female employee with dark hair and Barbie nails made me feel special. I did not like my bourbon drink (I’m new to drinking and didn’t know what bourbon was) and she took the time to figure out what I like in a drink and brought me out something she thought I would like, I LOVED IT! The burger I got was sooooo goood as well (I don’t eat seafood). The atmosphere was very nice. I had a really good experience here.

INCREDIBLE. There really was no bad part of our meal here; staff were friendly and welcoming, food was amazing and fresh. Highly recommend the fish tacos!! Drinks were also really good, and we loved that we could enjoy one on their front ‘patio’ while waiting for our table. Have come to expect a touristy vibe and middle quality from restaurants here, this genuinely wow’d us!!! Would love to come back!

Amazing food!! Was recommended this place after doing some research and am so glad I came here. The cocktail menu was absolutely fantastic and the food itself tasted so fresh and crisp. I've been told the sangría is also recommended, but I didn't get a sangría. Waiters always checked in on us every so often to ensure we were ok. Will definitely come back here when visiting OBX again!

Cocktails were amazing! Food was delicious, The shellfish can sometimes take more or less time to cook but all our food came out together and some great gluten free options. I had the special and it was delicious! Cullen was very attentive and gave us great service!

Good service and good food. I got the blackened rock fish that came with asparagus and rice and beans. Not pictured my companion got the fish tacos that I had some of and I thought were really good (the Mahi was grilled and not deep-fried which I prefer and it's served as a platter so you get to build your tacos yourself). Oh and the seafood bisque was really good!

Wonderful service, and excellent food. I was particularly happy about how considerate they were to a “party of one” like myself. Had a lovely table with a view, the food recommendations were spot on, service from hostess to bar to server impeccable. Both food and drinks were great value for money. Will definitely return!

We had a party of 9 tonight and we’re politely greeted by the hostess. As we were seated she asked if the seating was acceptable. After seating, our waitress Courtney P. took our drink and food orders with poise. Our food was delivered in a very timely manner. At our table there were comments as follows;
……best oysters I have ever eaten
……best crab legs ever
……greatest fish tacos ever
The food was more than good. Service was very good. We were very, very pleased with our visit.

We arrived last minute and were able to be seated right away. Diverse menu with many choices. Excellent service by our waitress Emily! She was very helpful and prompt. Definite asset to your business. Seafood bisque was fantastic! Loaded with seafood and not watered down. I had chicken. My partner had a burger. Both delicious. Highly recommend!

Food was SO good! Had the cheese ball to start - 11/10 recommend! Bisque also delicious. The fish tacos and shrimp boat were also amazing.

Our server was amazing - very attentive and helpful, knew the menu super well and all the tips and tricks!

Chris and his staff are definitely leaders in the Outer Banks Catering industry! From the initial client tasting, Chef Chris and Catering Manager, Yani, took time to welcome the couple and mother of the bride with a formally introduction and thanked them for choosing Steamers to caterer their wedding day reception. The client tasting was delicious, and their presentation gave the client a glimpse of the service they would receive on the day of their event. Upon conclusion of the tasting, Chef Chris and Yani took the time to stop by and receive the couple’s feedback and expectation of their event. Chris and Yani were wonderful; very responsive and thorough, answering any questions that arose and attended to details throughout the planning process even accommodating last-minute vegan requests. With 20+ years in the business as event planners, we can say with complete confidence “Steamers is a true full-service catering company”. From the moment they arrived onsite at Whalehead historic property, they were flawless in their execution. Steamer’s entire staff day-of worked hard and greeted everyone with a smile. We all worked together as one event team to ensure a beautiful successful event for the client and their guests. The buffet service and guest lines moved quickly; they kept the food hot and delicious while maintaining the cleanliness of the buffet area. Tables were cleared throughout the night and they worked alongside our planning team to keep the reception space beautiful and refreshed. My Director of Events- Victoria, myself and my entire planning team entire appreciate the courtesy and professionalism of Chris, Yani and his staff, and we look forward to referring many future clients to their exceptional catering services!

We started with the charcuterie board and moved on to dinner and drinks. My go to is always Sangria and this one did not disappoint - I had it red and it may have been one of the best I've had. For dinner, I had the Steamers platter of the day. I would highly recommend this to anyone. The clams and mussels were cooked perfectly and the crab legs were wonderful. My husband had the Honey Bourbon grilled Salmon and couldn’t stop talking about it. He finished off his meal withh cheesecake which was well prepared with just the right amount of zip. We would gladly dine here again.

Just love the blue and white theme in here! So cozy and relax. Rather than a good food and a nice interior, bathrooms are super cute and clean too! It shows that the management and crews are really care in here. (Meredith was our waitress and she is amazing!)

Food was great. Waitress was knowledgeable about specials and menu, she just took a little long to bring cleansing towels. We would've ordered dessert if she came back quicker but after waiting we just wanted to leave. Snow crab legs were delightful and the drinks were perfect.

This was the best dinner we have had in a long time! Everything was fresh and homemade. The pama pirate cocktail was the best drink I have ever had! The cherry was even specially prepared to perfection!!!!
