How cute is this cake, first off? I loved it, and it was a great hit. I requested it about two and a half weeks in advance, and that was plenty of time to get something so precious. If you want a cake and want it to be something special, I cannot recommend them more warmly. Also, of course, the flavor was out of this world.

I ordered a custom cake for my teen's 16th birthday and couldn't have been more please. Lindsay was friendly, professional, communicated quickly, and responsive to my needs.

The cake was gorgeous and the design perfectly executed, down to the smallest details (including the message on the cake).

It was equally delicious, with all the party guests raving about it. I'd asked for a mocha cake and the combination of chocolate cake and coffee buttercream was perfectly balanced to give that classic mocha flavor.

The best dang cake I've ever had, and I'm not just saying that because it's my wedding cake! So many guests were complimenting it. Lindsay was great with communication and I highly recommend her & the team!

I got my birthday cake here last year it was the best cake I've ever had in my life. The ingredients were so fresh and so beautifully presented that I will never not get my birthday cake here. Had one of your cakes at a birthday party recently and it was the best cake I've had! Almond cake on the bottom and carrot cake on the top, beautifully decorated for the birthday boy. Moist, delicious and so fresh! Icing was amazing too! Yum!

If you're looking for some treats for any event, Gateaux is your company. We worked with Lindsay for our wedding in Hendersonville. My husband and I actually live in FL and Lindsay was able to squeeze us in for a quick tasting as we drove through NC one random weekend. Everything was amazing!

My husband and I wanted a little bit of a variety so we ended up ordering a smaller, 2 tiered wedding cake for our bridal party along with cookies, cupcakes & macaroons for the other guests. Our dessert bar was a hit!

The day of our wedding, I just kind of placed all of our trays and tiered displays on a table to wait for Lindsay. I wasn't able to see her because I was getting ready but she came in to set everything up and organized the dessert bar to look spectacular! Thank you so much Lindsay!

I absolutely loved our dessert bar and wedding cake! We received so many compliments. They also made our groom's cake for the rehearsal dinner with our cats on it and it was so cute! Highly recommend Lindsay and her team :)

Best cake ever! Usually wedding cakes look beautiful and then you get disappointed when you take that first bite. Well with Gateaux you don’t have to worry about that happening. The cake was absolutely delicious and wish I had an opportunity to be able to eat more. Everyone talked about how much they loved it. Definitely recommend a tasting if it is in your budget and have no clue what you want. We were able to see if we liked the cakes and then had to figure out which one we liked best to serve. Definitely recommend this place for all of your cake needs! If I lived in the area I would be buying all of my cakes for the holidays and any celebrations. Check her store out, you will not regret it.

We had the most incredible wedding cake and dessert display! The cake and desserts were stunning and they were absolutely delicious!

Our granddaughters cake was absolutely Amazing and the most delicious cake we have ever had.She loves horses and my daughter in law sent her a picture of the horse she wanted on her cake.When my son came home with it,we were speechless!!!!WOW!!!We could not believe how beautiful it was.We definitely recommend this special place.Thank you for making her special day more special!!!She is amazing!

Lindsay is amazing! She helped us with our treat table for our wedding. She is extremely creative and was able to give us unique and delicious desserts for our guests, while being very professional, answering all of our inquiries in a timely fashion. Her lavender macarons are absolutely perfect, and her cakes are so fluffly and moist. Our table looked amazing and we still dream about the coffee coconut cake with Bailey's filling. I would definitely recommend Gateaux for any function that you plan.

I ordered one of these cakes for my boss for a surprise. I just told her She loved Dolly Parton and WOW just so impressive. Not only the BEAUTIFUL work she does, but the taste was absolutely the best cake and Icing I've ever had. (I am not usually an icing fan) Lemon Blueberry with Cream cheese Icing!! Lindsay and her team are absolutely SPECTACULAR! I have ordered multiple cakes and desserts from her and each time I am blown away by not only how beautiful they are, but also how delicious! Lindsay created the perfect Beatrix Potter cake for our baby shower with stunning detail that was truly the pièce de résistance of the shower. This month, we celebrated my friend's 30th birthday with a chocolate-raspberry-mocha mousse cake and the entire group agreed that it was the best cake they've ever had, hands-down. The detail and love that goes into creating each dessert is truly special. Gateaux is now my go-to bakery for all special events!

Lindsay made our vision come to life and created the wedding cake of our dreams! The flavors were fun and incredibly well executed and the palette style design was so gorgeous. Everyone was raving about how good the cake was all night!

Easily one of the best decisions of our wedding!! We absolutely loved our wedding cake. I wanted a very colorful, bird of paradise flower themed cake. Lindsay just knocked it out of the park with this design. We had had a LOT of awkward & expensive wedding cake tastings with various vendors prior to finding Gateaux. Once we found Lindsay I was just so relieved and happy - she was incredibly easy to work with, kind, accommodating, excited, and talented. I sent her photos of our venue, the colors, and a few ideas and she totally ran with the theme and made this gorgeous design. Not only are her cakes beautiful, but they TASTE ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. We went with 2 flavors for the 2 tiers - a lemon/blueberry and a tiramisu inspired coffee/cream cheese. And to top it all off, her prices are beyond reasonable. I have purchased two cakes now from Gateaux and have been blown away! I live in Asheville, but yes, I will always make the drive for the perfect cake! Each one is a work of art. I HIGHLY recommend!

Such a nice wonderful lady and artist! Our wedding cake was amazingly delicious and looked beautiful! She was always extreamly fast to respond and understood our vision and made it a reality. She was the easiest vendor to work with with the best quality result! Will definitely use her again. Highly reccomend her for your cake and pastry needs. My Aunt cannot eat gluten and she made special cupcakes for her that my Aunt LOVED. My only regret was I was too full and couldn't eat more of it!

Gateaux did the cake for our wedding, but went beyond just the cake and helped my husband and I curate an entire "dessert table" around the flavors in our cake. Lindsay has truly found her calling, and participating in the creative process with her (and picking her brain for the best flavor combinations!) was one of the highlights of our wedding-planning process.

Also, the final "painted buttercream" flowers on our cake were absolute show-stoppers – our guests said they've never seen anything like it, and that ours was the most stunning wedding cake they'd ever seen. HUGE kudos to the Gateaux team!

Lindsay is so talented!! We enjoyed working with her for our April 2023 wedding. We had a dessert bar and it was such a hit with ourselves and our guests. We communicated via phone and email with Lindsay from initial booking. Our planner also did a lot of the communicating with Gateaux. The desserts Gateaux provided for our tasting and our wedding were quite literally some of the best desserts we’ve ever had. Thank you! Would highly recommend Gateaux.
