YES, PLEASE 😍One of my favorite stops while visiting Pike Place. So many options to top a simple yet delicious crumpet 👌 We had a sweet and a savory crumpet.
One with strawberry 🍓 preserves and cream cheese 🥯! Then a pesto and egg crumpet!
It was a great choice to get a sweet and savory crumpet so you can have a good balanced breakfast or snack anytime of the day!
They are very busy and can have long lines to order. Definitely not the place if you are in a hurry. Well worth the wait if you are visiting 😋👍

The crumpets and tea are amazing. They have an all you can drink hot tea selection with different varieties. I got the Ham, egg, and cheese crumpet, it was so good. I got a butter crumpet to-go, just so I could have the experience all over again.

Stopped in for breakfast while in town for a work event. This place is fantastic, the server was very friendly, the tea was tasty, and the crumpet was delicious. I got the Micky Rourke which did not have any heat at all, but good flavor.

You might be thinking "wow, these crumpets are not a very expensive breakfast", well that's because you are getting half the food! Have a tiny breakfast (that's probably healthier..) or order two. Cheers!

The Crumpet Shop is a wondeful spot for crumpets and tea. All the crumpets I had here were crisp on the outside and soft on the inside.

This spot is self-service. You order, get napkins, forks, etc then find a seat if you plan to dine in. The cashiers were very patient with me and I really appreciated their recommendations and explanations.

Atmosphere is of a small close quarter cafe/diner feeling. The walkways are pretty tight where only one average sized person can fit at a time.

Overall, I would come back! It had good service, crispy crumpets, and a wide variety of toppings.

Want sure how I'd like these but they are sooo good.
They are a very basic food but you can add things to make them more sweet or savoury or whatever but for me the original buttery one was so good.
Some people compare it to being a pancake+biscuit which is quite accurate. It tasted a bit like an arepa just not a crunchy nor corn flavor.

It was fluffy on top and crisp on the bottom. There was so much warm buttery butter in it that every bite was just delicious. I recommend this spot especially if it is your first time having crumpets! $3.25 for one which is a bit pricey, but yeah it's good.

I’ve been here multiple times but never put my review in. It’s a well kept secret of Pike Place Market.
What we got - Salmon cream cheese crumpet
What we’ll take away - It’s always amazing. The crumpet was freshly made and the salmon cream cheese was delicious. The walnut honey one is my favorite (from previous visits)

Definitely the best crumpets I’ve had outside of England! Super fast service and very fresh. The English cheddar tastes so good. The cucumber and salmon is also very nice and a little more filling. Will definitely be back! We ended up going upstairs to Storyville for the coffee and nice seats.

I've been visiting Seattle for years and just never managed to make it into The Crumpet Shop until this most recent trip. I was worried the crumpets might be dense and heavy, especially since we had had a small breakfast already, but they were so light and delicous. The lemon ricotta wasn't very sweet (the highest compliment I can give any sweet), and the salmon was delicious.

Definitely one of my go-to stops now when I'm in the area. We went right when they opened and basically walked right up without a wait, but the line started forming before we even got out order a few minutes later. Super friendly staff, though, and the atmosphere was nice and felt like an old small local business.

Stopped while visiting Seattle.

Staff is super friendly & welcoming. They even provided excellent recommendations when we couldn't pick just one.

The crumpets are yummy but the scone cake is amazingly delicious.

Really friendly staff and delicious crumpets. Loved the savory crumpet with jalapeños and both the sweet crepes I tried were amazing. I ended up going twice during my visit

This little gem is an iconic shop located on 1st Ave right at the main entrance of the Pike Place Market.
I had a hard time finding quick in- and-out parking, but I called ahead, and they kindly set aside six pack of fresh crumpets for me.
It used to be that the crumpets would be sold out in the first few hours of their day, and they also weren't open on Sundays. I can happily say that is no longer the case!! I hadn't been here in about twenty years, but I'm so glad to have made the effort. Their crumpets are so delicious and are an amazing vehicle for butter and homemade jam or honey.

Lovely first crumpet experience here! Snacked on one with cheese, egg, ham, and jalapeño with a healthy dash of hot sauce. Love all the free refill tea options and the interior is cozy with some nice wall murals. Also their lemon curd is zesty but not too sweet :)

Several books I've read have referenced "Tea & Crumpets", but I'd never had one...until now! Generally speaking, I have a very selective/picky palate, but these tasted great! I had one with just butter and one with strawberry preserves. Both were excellent! It's right outside of Pike Place Market, so make sure you time your visit there with when the Crumpet Shop is open so you don't miss it!

Fantastic little shop in Pike Place. The best way to start the morning and delicious little treats. Great for a savory and hearty start with an egg, or a sweet little snack.

I love this spot at Pike Place Market. Their savory crumpet with pesto, tomato, and cheese is bursting with flavor, thanks to the fresh ingredients. Indoor seating is limited, but the staff is friendly. Will be back to try the sweet ones.

Delicious crumpets and free coffee fill ups. The crumpet with Parmesan pesto and tomato was the best. Very friendly and nice service

August 2023:
I have always been fascinated with how the British eat crumpets and tea ☕. Stopped by this shop and tried a crumpet with butter.

Everything is made fresh in store. We waited about five to ten minutes for our order. When it came out, it was toasted perfectly with a generous amount of butter.

Overall, was really delicious 😋. Will definitely come back again for more crumpets.

As a Brit American I know my crumpets and these didn’t disappoint! Authentic and yummy. I stuck with the traditional jam topping but egg and cheese was good too. The coffee was great too. Really enjoyed he visit.

This was possibly our favorite place we ate at in Seattle. We just fell in love with this spot. The lemon curd and ricotta crumpet was amazing! Great coffee and tea as well.

The staff is friendly. The line moved quickly and our crumpets were out within 5 minutes. They serve coffee and tea. However, we got the lemonade and it was fantastic. Perfect place to get a snack.
