A Dong Restaurant in San Antonio is an absolute gem! My husband and I are regulars, and it continues to be our go-to for the BEST pho in the city – and trust me, we've tried many! The quick service makes it ideal for a speedy (yet delicious) work lunch outing. Consistent satisfaction every visit!

Finally a good pho! Don’t be afraid of the “raw beef”. It just means the beef is put in the broth raw and the broth cooks it. Amazing flavor!

If you're looking for Vietnamese or Chinese food you'll be happy if you choose this restaurant. Always have wonderful meals, so full of flavor, and the staff is very attentive. Seriously delicious food!

We have been coming here for years so I figured I should give my two cents. This place has a good variety of Asian dishes such as sesame chicken to Pho to Vermicelli bowls. This go round we discovered that they also serve hot pots. There are just a few places that serve this dish and this is definitely one of the spots to try it. They have 3 options to chose from. As you can see from the photos, the ingredients and raw and you cook them at your own pace. We enjoy this concept because it gives you time for conversation and enjoyment without your foid getting cold or overcooked. The flavor of the broth intensifies, on a good way, as you cook your ingredients.
Check them out if you are in the area, outdoor dining is available for nice weather days.

Food is excellent as always. The staff is friendly. I recommend you all to try the crispy salty squid (it is not salty as its name), it's really good

This restaurant is one of the most authentic Chinese / Vietnamese resteraunts you can get in San Antonio. Came in during the night right before closing and the staff was willing to take my order. The food was made fresh and it was real good.

You can tell that this business is family owned and operated. My only recommendation would be to have someone in the business be able to translate as there could be a language barrier when ordering.

Overall will return to this resteraunt in the future.

My dish was amazing. As always. Every dish that came thru the kitchen doors looked really really good. So glad I was in the area. I had the charbroiled beef on vermicelli. Underneath the vermicelli is a wonderful array of vegetables. So good.

The food is really good. The price is not too expensive. Had lots of puns coming from my husband after we ate here Lol.

For my first time... I got pho-cked by A Dong. And it was wonderful!
If you've been pho-cked by a lesser restaurant and came away disappointed, give A Dong a try.
I highly recommend it!

Really good place to eat, very cultural and we are here during lunch hour weekday so I don't know if it's always this crowded but even crowded it's fun and the food came quickly. Very quickly. And service was just fine. No complaints.

Excellent service and you get more than you pay for! Solid Vietnamese food choice. Great Pho and I definitely recommend #83 the duck. The fried squid is also delish.

We stopped for lunch here before a doctors appointment in the area, and it was super super quiet inside. they did have lunch specials for Chinese food but we ended up both getting the meat combination pho, and it was really great! we finished both bowls, and paid $30 total for 1 water, 1 soda, and two pho bowls.

the service was stellar, and the food was excellent as well. wait staff is accommodating and friendly. 10/10

The food was amazing! They were quick to get it out and the flavor was fantastic. The portions were LARGE, so more than enough for a second meal. Their coffee was a slow drip, and tasted great. A wonderful dessert after the meal.

Best Canh Chua and salt pepper pork I've even had in the US. Great food every time!

Good food, prices are fair and portions are large. They have an abundance of comfort food, as well as unique Vietnamese dishes.

Delicious. Place has been here for a while. Service can be lacking sometimes but Its just a communication barrier. Would recommend
