Cashier was very nice. Store was really clean. Great veriety of products.

EDIT: After making this review the owner swiftly responded and I spoke to him via email. He made sure everything was made right and that the employee was talked to about the proper way to handle customers on the phone and in person when the two coincide.
Also, It turns out she did not hang up on me, the phone has a history of losing connection.
I will continue shopping there for my corner store needs because I see how much the owner values his customers

The morning shift woman Is a rude and will hang up on you if you call in and have more than one question. She will interrupt you, call you names, and try to make you feel inferior to her. I had two questions- "Hey can I get my money back or exchange a product with a broken seal and When is your boss coming back from vacation since you don't know"
I didn't get to ask the second question because she hung up on me twice and won't pick up the phone anymore.

Great Place

It's ok. The lady owner is not very nice. I grabbed a pep stick with my hands once, and she yelled at me. Sorry, but the tongs were gross.
Prices are a bit high, unless your comparing them to the ferry, then it's a bargain.

Upon review i can confirm:
-more than 3 items were past the expiration date.
-prices are 25-150% higher than local competitors.
-the merchandising in the market is poor at best.

PASSING FAKE BILLS/MONEY(3/22/23)
My fiance and I purchased two pints of ice cream for $13+, handed clerk a $20 and he handed back a $5 bill & a $1 bill +change. Once home we realized the $5 bill was fake. I went back this morning(3/23/23) when the store opened to notify/exchange.
To be honest, they/the set up raises suspicions. Very defensive and only checked the bill with counterfeit pen AFTER i notified them? Not upon receiving that bill in the first place?
Pay attention to these guys

It's been a happy customer at the store since they open. Every morning employee (especially the regular woman whos been opening for years) ive never had a negetive interaction with afternoon cashiers nor the manager. ive never experienced rudeness by anyone behind the counter. Today that changed in a major way. i went in to get my usual muffin and gatoraid, an employee by the name of Brandon, decided to insult me by accusing me of being a theif, refused to complete my transaction. then proceded to tell me I am "banned for stealig". I'm shocked because I've never been accused by any establishment for shoplifting. Let alone one that frequent so many times a week. he refewsed to give me any deails besides "it was candy and happend previously and he claimed that he told me i was banned when i was "caught". unfortunately i had no time to get an oficer without missing my ferry. Brandon said i cant sppeak to anyone above him until Monday. aftert i clear my name with the manager I still don't think I'm ever going to set foot in this place again. That is not the way to treat regularr loyal customer. he soke to me as if i were a crimonal scumbag (infront of other customers witch was humiliating) its unfortunate because I've had no issues with this store, besides the occasional annoyance of thcredit credit/debit processing terminal being down(which has seemed to been solved for the last 4 or 5 years) but now after all these years of good service, it's one employee's nastiness that makes me not want to spend another dime in the store.

Make purchases here cautiously!
They have a fairly good selection of highly priced items. If you are grabbing a snack, they are okay.

But if you grab a non-edible Beware! They will not honor their sales and consider it your problem if the products they sell are defective. Not where I will pick up much, if anything again, and I definitely don't recommend them.

If you sell it, you should return it!
