Tom Wahl's Canandaigua

Great staff, plenty of parking, plenty of seating inside. I don’t know what makes Tom Wahls so different than your regular fast food chain restaurant, but their burgers and sandwiches are the best! Friendly and prompt service. Our last visit my son ordered a burger and I the grilled chicken sandwich. The fries and sandwich were delicious. I would definitely recommend a stop here!

My ABSOLUTE favorite Mushroom Swiss burger of all time! Spot on every time and tons of 🍟 The meat sauce is amazing!!

Came here for the 1st time the other day and I was impressed with the ground steak burger. I also got cheese curds which were soo good. Then I tried the chocolate milkshake. If I still drank soda I would have tried the root beer float or something but this place has my recommendation for anyone who wants to try something new. I will definitely be back and I may bring my daughter.

Best burgers around. Very fun and family friendly place. Price are very reasonable. Food was hot and fresh. Food was made fast. Staff was friendly.

Had a craving for a burger so stopped at Tom Wahls in Canandaigua on our way home. The steak burger hits the spot every time. The staff are all so polite and efficient so this tells me this location is well managed. The restaurant is kept very tidy which is exactly what you want in a food establishment. Love listening to the tunes on the jukebox! Best root 🍺 beer you will find.

Gotta love old school burgers, fries and shakes! Burgers are absolutely juicy and delicious paired with the crispy crinkle cut fries and ketchup all washed down with and smooth and creamy Abbots chocolate shake! Can't go wrong 👌

Please, if you can, please tip Rosalie 🙏 she is the lady who washes down the tables. She does a very nice job... 👍 and deserves a tip if you can afford a few dollars. Wheel chair accessible and handicap parking. Public restrooms.

I love this place. I eat this food every day and it’s delicious every time. I could eat all three meals of the day here, every single day. the workers are usually very friendly and as someone who also works in the food industry i appreciate the good vibes from all the staff. i’ve never had a bad experience here. i have no complaints!!! you guys are killing it!

We all absolutely LOVE Tom Wahls. The burgers are the best you could ever get anywhere! Done to perfection every time. The Wahl burger is amazing as it has a slice of
Ham on the burger with special sauce. The French fries are extra special. No matter how long the line is, food is always served quickly and is always super fresh and delicious 😋 You can get ice cream all year round. They have special twin twists like strawberry-peach twisted together! Simply amazing! Love, love, love Tom Wahls. Go there today! You will love them too ❤

I moved to the area almost 10 years ago, and for some reason, I never visited a Tom Wahl's. Huge mistake on my part!

I used to go to the Burger Shack in Victor till they closed. Never knowing that right down the road from me was a haven for a true burger lover. I ordered the Wahlburger with bacon to start, I'll tell you right now I'm absolutely coming back for the Big Bopper, and the onion rings!

But what really impressed me were the employees. I asked for salt from a young man, he promptly said where it was, as he was walking towards it. That's not a common occurrence, especially when it comes to fast food. Every person working behind the counter genuinely wanted to make sure I enjoyed my visit, never knowing it was my first time.

Congratulations to Steve Kasmar, the manager, listed on the front door. You have done an incredible job with your staff, I will be back.

I visited here while on vacation and it was a great little place. The jukebox had the top 10 songs that made the billboards from 1972-1983 which I thought was really cool. The Wahlburger was amazing and I loved the onion rings! Great place to go, I'm going to see if this chain is anywhere closer to where I live.

Good old American fare. Burger joint plus...it's not fast food. It's good food, served pretty quick! It's also not cheap.
Fair pricing for excellent fresh food!

I believe I just ate the world best burger and drank the worlds best root beer. The cheese curds are phenomenal! Great service, happy staff. So much that’s hard to get elsewhere.

This place was very welcoming and had a very nice feel to it. I got a burger, onion rings, and a malt shake. It was my first time trying Tom Wahal's and I've got to say I really enjoyed it.

Tom Wahl's was recommended to our family by fellow campers visiting the area. We were very skeptical before arriving, but had a fantastic dining experience. The burgers were fresh and absolutely delicious. Every member of our family loved their lunch. We followed up lunch with frozen custard from Abbott's. Highly recommend this stop for lunch and dessert.

The cheeseburger and fries come out hot in temperature. Good food 😋 👌

Staff and other customers where very polite. The atmosphere was very friendly and relaxing. Plenty of space and tables. The food was very appealing, and wonderful. I had the chili dogs and French fries. Definitely going back when I'm in the area!

Food was good with large portions. The 50's style classic setting backed up by music from that era sets the tone for a fun retro meal. Food, fun and nostalgia. Loved it. Well done.

The first bite of these burgers is FRESHNESS...none of that McDs taste, & their Root Beer is might tasty too!! HUGE burgers, so size down...I did kids meal which was perfect for me! Great place, kind of loud at times, but will ALWAYS go back! Delish.

Every Tom Wahl's has outstanding food, and the root beer... If only they sold it in bottles!
Seriously, get the frosted mug for your root beer, it's AMAZING!
Service at this location was above and beyond, which seems to be the standard for Tom Wahl's. My wife has some dietary allergies, and the staff went out of their way to make sure her order was safe for her to eat, which is not the normal experience at other places.
Keep up the AMAZING work!
My only "complaint" is that they don't have a location in the Buffalo NY area!
