McGavin's Bakery

We were able to get a pink champagne cake right before a major holiday! The staff were quick and friendly. Prices are decent for a small bakery. They have a long history in Bremerton!

The cake itself was moist, soft, and perfectly sweet and frosted. It was a standard vanilla inside. Their cake pops are my kids favorites!

We were able to park right next to the bakery and be in and out within 10 minutes. It is in old Bremerton, and very pleasant and clean inside the store.

McGavin's Bakery made a phenomenal wedding cake that topped off the night pleasing guests and wanting more! After tasting 8 wedding cake vendors, we were very glad to taste, love and book our wedding cake services through McGavin's Bakery. The cake was beautiful, on-time, and delicious. My only regret was that we should have ordered a bigger cake even though we had a dessert spread. Great job to the crew for making this day extra special.

I have always wanted to try the pink champagne cake. For my birthday which is 4 days before Valentine’s Day, my husband was able to get me a pink champagne cake… Omg this cake is absolutely amazing and gorgeous, make sure you get it with the coconut soooo good. I love this bakery!

New spring hours as of March 1st 0700-1500. Makes it little bit easier to swing by and bring treats into work.
The crew is killing it now, last time I was here was 9 years ago and it is almost a completely new operation. Everything is fresh and looks amazing. I picked up several king cakes for Mardi gras, they were the talk of the office today. Now I'm going to be expected to bring in more treats from here. The cookies are very fun looking. The danishes and cinnamon rolls caught my eye for next time.

I placed a special order for baby shower cookies and cupcake. I provided pictures to the bakery of what I was wanting and they were EXACTLY like the pictures I provided!! They were beautiful and tasted great. The cupcakes were very light and airy, (not dry at all), and the cookies were soft and not too sweet but the icing made them just perfect. Everyone at the baby shower asked where I got them! Thanks McGavins, Alex, and the (girl decorator who helped me when I picked up) for making sure they were just right!! Benn geeting birthday cakes from here since the 90's. Always consistent with their pink champagne cake. Its so light and delicious. We always pick up other treats too!

Raspberry filled champagne wedding cake was perfect and we just keep going back! We chose McGavins over the big name wedding cake bakerys in Seattle and Tacoma because they were, hands down, the best tasting cakes and frosting.

Let me start with one word; DELICIOUS 😋 My husband and I had our wedding last Aug (we are coming up to our 1 year wedding anniversary on the 29th of this month) and he and I still talk about our wedding cake. We had a 2 layer pink champagne, we just asked for some decorative things to go with the cake but I did not want to change anything else about this-already perfect- cake and our guests kept asking us where we ordered the cake from, compliments and compliments kept coming and I was so freakin proud to give them the bakery name. I wanted more (sadly, I had to share with others 😒😆 lol) but in all honesty; from stepping in on day one to talk to the baker, to picking it up the day before my wedding; everyone was so nice, so professional, so caring towards us and all their customers, I didn't feel rushed, i didn't feel ignored, and not not important to them. Oh, This bakery smells soooo good too, its dangerous🙈 haha I am so happy to see they are still killing it and making more people happy with their goodies. Thank you all, for making our cake the highlight of our big day! ❤

Incredible bakery! This is only the 2nd time in the past year that I can remember being taken aback just by the flavor of these wonderful cookies. The cookies were really cool and creative and the service was excellent. The gal that was there also recommended we go to Port Gamble and we did and had a great time! Anywhoot that was how great of an experience we had at this little bakery.

Kimberly is the most amazing person and she is such a delight every single time I get to come in and see her working the counter. Madison makes the best cookies I have ever had in my life and I love the cute designs. Larri makes the cupcakes that of course to die for so delicious my personal favorite are the seasonal pineapple and carrot cake ones but ask for them and they'll make them for you because they're amazing!!! Deb Is absolutely killing it with the Danish's my favorite is the pecan roll!!!

The cookies we got were super cute, tasty, and super affordable. Definitely will be going back to try more of their menu.

They made a beautiful birthday cake for my son. Also, they have monthly special cupcakes and they're delicious!

Every time I have gone to McGavin's I have gotten exactly what I need. Their Pink Champagne cake is the best I have ever had, and their variety of cookies are lovely as well. Cupcakes are great and I like to mix n match flavors. These guys are local and a luxurious option for birthday, anniversary, or any special occasion in need of sweets.

Loved this bakery when I was in WA. Me and my wife loved their pink champagne cupcakes, they would even have bake some for my wife when I was deployed. Great family owned bakery.

WOW!! One of the best cakes I've ever had! My work family ordered a pink champagne cake for me. It was beautiful and tasted just as amazing as it looked! Cake, filling and the frosting were so so very tasty. I can't say enough about how satisfying this was. I will for sure try this again, probably several times! :)

The ladies are awesome even at 7:15 am. Very friendly and the Customer service is terrific.The regulars are nice people. The food is fresh and soo good, I had the Pumkin turnover and a strawberry cream cheese Danish and was very happy. Will be back after Thanksgiving. Ten stars and five thumbs up.
