When my insurance changed I needed to come to Safeway for my Rxs.
I find all the staff to be very helpful and when I've needed an emergency Rx filled they've not only accommodated it but also were so pleasant about it. When I have a question about an over-the-counter meds potentially interacting with my Rxs they've been patient and downright nice. Granted, they are busy but in the 1.5 years I've been dealing with them they have never let the hectic pace get to them.

My sister got an emergency medication sent by her doctor, I went 3hours before closing time. They said they were backed up and couldn't refill it until the next day. I told them she's in extreme pain and can't wait until the next morning. They said they do NOT have any procedures in place to prioritize pain meds that are needed immediately. Please fix this so people don't suffer needlessly.

Been going to this Safeway all my life for everything. Call to refill my script like always for few months now and never had problem with having to tell them the name of script. This time was asked what scripts I couldn't remember off top of my head. It's not that I don't know what I'm taking but I read about it once and I don't remember the crazy names of this stuff. Anyway never had problems before. They have never asked before . So I tell him I don't remember and I hear him sigh over phone and very rude like he says "we have to order it we are out of it!" I said it immediately after I said I didn't remember the name so he already knew what the script was for. So now I have to wait till Monday and I'm suppose to take daily. Sadly but 2 issues in one day I think I'm switch pharmacy. The unnecessary rudeness is the big thing for me. Whoever the Asian male working on Saturday is should rethink his interactions with customers.

I am never going to this pharmacy again. They didn't understand the prescription the doctor sent them and then proceeded to lie and say they had never received a prescription. I found out about their lie when I called the doctor and the doctor confirmed the prescription had been sent. They should have been straight with me and they should have called the doctor to get clarification. If I didn't badger them a lot the prescription would not have been filled. The really bad part is all this back and forth between the doctor and pharmacy took hours and I wasn't able to get the prescription on the day I was supposed to get it. I have a painful infection and waiting an additional day to treat it is not good it will probably extend the healing time by multiple days, not to mention the fact that the pain will make it hard to sleep tonight and I will have to go to my construction job tomorrow tired and in pain.

The worst customer service ever. They told me the medication will be ready in 30 minutes. I waited 30 minutes and showed up to pick up but the Asian guy who works there in a rude manner said working on it come after 20 minutes. I argued that you should have told me it takes one hour and he did not apologize. Never go there again.

DO NOT COME HERE FOR PRESCRIPTIONS UNLESS YOU'RE OKAY WITH MISSING MEDICATION REFILLS/DOSAGES FOR WEEKS AT A TIME!!!
I've missed multiple weeks of my hormone treatments because they told me over the phone that they had my refills ready, until I got there and then they no longer had any in stock. This has happened more time than I can count. Not just with my testosterone, but also my syringes, needles, and my other medications. THIS IS A SAFETY HAZARD! I called yesterday and asked the pharmacy manager what they can do to prevent this from happening again, he told me there was nothing he could do. His advice was to ask for a medication transfer, I don't have the time to go traveling around to find a refill at another location. This is inexcusable. Their job is to provide the medications their customers order/refill. He told me that they put in orders and sometimes they don't bring testosterone, I'm sure there are steps they can take to better confirm with their delivery system that they will be getting all of the prescription orders when they order them. The fact that I was told that there was they could do to provide better service is gross and a huge safety concern. If the pharmacy manager cannot perform their job, then how am I supposed to trust Safeway with my health and wellbeing? Again this has caused me to miss weeks and weeks worth of injections, causing my hormone levels to become unbalanced. This should not even be a problem, let alone a problem that has happened more time than I could possibly count. I am absolutely fed up with the service that this location has provided.

I agree with the previous review. Pharmacy is absolutely awful. It is horribly understaffed. You have sometimes just two people operating the pharmacy including the pharmacist. If there’s any kind of line, you’ll be in it for 30+ minutes.
The staff is generally kind but often don’t know what they’re talking about. For example, after filling a monthly elecontronically sent prescription for over a year, I called to see if one was ready and the staff member told me they “don’t do electronic persciptions.”
Again, kind staff, but mostly a staffing problem along with a few issues with knowledgeability.

The wife and I have been using this pharmacy for a year now and they rarely have your prescription ready when they say it's ready. This happened to us more than 10 times already. They would call/text my wife and I when our prescription is ready, but when we get there you usual have to wait in a long line, I'm assuming because a lot of people medication are not ready either and then another 15 minutes for them to get your medication ready when they should have been ready when they called/text you that it's ready for pick up... I don't understand how their system works, but they need to change something because it's not working.

This is the worst pharmacy I’ve ever been too. The pharmacist or pharmacy assistant women is rude to every customer that was in line, and also over charged for covered pharmaceuticals. Took weeks to get my money back. Avoid at all cost. I would give less then one star if possible.
