Hood River Hobbies, LLC

This is a shop I always enjoyed visiting since I am in love with airplanes. I am currently a student pilot working on getting my pilots license. Now that my family has sold their vacation home it will be a lot harder to visit this place. I always enjoyed window shopping here but I was never able to afford anything. Now that I have a job and have a little bit of money I can spend it's too bad that I am too late for that. If I do happen to be in the area again I will maybe stop by again. I am making it a tradition to come once a year when they have the Hood River Fly In.

I've purchased a few RC vehicles from Hood River Hobbies thru the years, the last one being a RedCat IHC Scout II in purple.

Their price was cheaper than the big box store in Vancouver, which honestly surprised me.

I wanted to play with it during our Trip, but hadn't packed a Charger. I have 2 nice Chargers at home, so couldn't justify buying a new unit.

They offered to charge my Batteries for me while I took my Wife out to Lunch.

Very good selection of high quality games, puzzles, and RC.

Fun store with games you won’t find at a normal store. Friendly humans to interact with, prices that match the area you are shopping in and dope model car kits that made my partners face light up like a tiny kid on Christmas.

Although not the biggest selection of single cards, they have a excellent variety of sealed product for trading card games.

Other types of hobbies are also welcome from RC to model making.

Owners were very attentive and helpful. We went in looking for R/C tanks and they had some, including a big one that shoots 6mm air soft pellets, has engine noise and even produces engine smoke! They opened up the box for us and let us look at it. Wow!

Great service and so many fun things to do. Traxxas gear sold here. Thank you for the new tires and a great price on the replacement battery.

Such a fun place to visit and even hang for a quick game or two. The staff is very knowledgeable about their games and toys, they give great service and have a pretty good selection of toys and games.

Very knowledgeable staff and a wide range of products from model kits to board games to the bigger TCGs. They also do a lot for the community, overall great store with great people.

Great shop with a very friendly staff. They are always very helpful, even going as far as to pull out game samples and walk you through a play through. Stop here every time I'm in Hood River.

We try to stop by Hood River Hobbies every time we're in Hood River. Great local shop with lots of great things to choose from for all ages. Also a cool little puzzle game play set up in the back. Shout out to my guy Marcos!

My son bought his RC car from Hood River Hobbies and after a few months it started acting up! Brought it into Mike at this shop and he was so helpful, educated my son on some electronics, called customer service, and was able to swap out a part at no charge to us! We had great customer service here and will continue to support this business! Now the RC car operates as it should and is my Son's fav activity!

The owner here is awesome! We were just browsing because we're game people, and he started asking questions and offered to teach us some new games. Of course we obliged and ended up loving both! The staff is super friendly and helpful and really good at explaining new games. We wanted to get both games that we learned but just ended up with Odin's Ravens due to limited luggage space. I definitely recommend this place, even if you're just stopping by from out of town. They'll be happy to play a quick game with you!

A wide variety of goods to meet all your gaming or hobby needs, plenty of space to test out games, and a very kind and generous storekeeper. A group of friends and I went to play some Magic, and he was friendly and happy to help us with any questions we had.

Very impressed with the board game selection they had!! Was not expecting that but pleasantly surprised. Will definitely return on my next trip to the Hood River area. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend to those passing through to see their shop!

My husband sent me into this store to get paint for his model car he was working on. The young man working that day greeted me as I entered the store, he was so helpful, showing me the way to the paint section & helping me choose the correct paint.I was so impressed with all the differnt inventory, I ended up buying much more then just the paint. I will highly recommend Hood River Hobbies as a great place to spend your time & your money.

Great staff. Great selection. We always stop in here when we're in town just to check out what's new.
