Best Western Plus Hood River Inn

Extremely pet friendly! Pet-allowed room did have some minor evidence on woodwork of previous four legged visitors, but it was clean, fresh and comfortable. Good size mini frig. Doggie guests were all quiet and well behaved - only noise was from happy kids on Spring Break, headed to or from the pool. Booked a first floor river view room, had direct access to patio, lawn and jogging path. Awesome. Did include complimentary "real" breakfast from the restaurant, but didn't take advantage of that. Pup got a treat bag at check in too!
Only negative is non-stop freeway and bridge noise when you're outside, but its quiet inside.

Best place to stay. Period. Loved walking to movie, dinner, shopping, and driving to wineries. The restaurant is lovely.
The Pool and hot tub is always very busy with kids- jam packed, loud. I guess that is understandable, just annoying. Maybe have periods where kids aren’t allowed 9-10pm.

My husband and I decided to stay at the Best Western and after checking in, we knew we made the right choice of choosing the best Western. It is in a great location and has an on-site bar/lounge and resturant. Kimi in the lounge is spectacular. Her service was quick and her drinks are absolutely delicious. The pool is outdoor and heated and is breath taking. A great way to unwind. The bed was a little lumpy but everything else made up for that times 10. This is the place to book.

Lovely location, clean and bright rooms, and a remarkably good restaurant and bar within. Easy to walk to town and other fun places along the river.

Coffee - delicious! But the OATMEAL breakfast……… I’ll crave this until the end of time. Phenomenal!

What a view!! Basic rooms… but clean and comfortable.

Honestly, great place for the price point. We got a room with a river view and were not disappointed. It was hot during our stay, so we read and relaxed in AC while watching the water. We did do some early morning and late evening walks along the river trail which is paved and easily accessible, perfect for those who want outdoor beauty but aren’t up for difficult terrain. The view at night with the bridge and twinkling lights across the Columbia was perfectly tranquil. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The restaurant was excellent. Service stellar. This was just what we needed for our anniversary getaway.

This place was a hidden gem. Beautiful location, reasonably priced (at least for our stay) and the restaurant was great. I’ve already recommended to friends.

Great location especially if you get a water side room with a balcony. Their A/Cs could use a tune-up but it wasn't terrible. Great breakfast in the restaurant/lounge. Please extend your breakfast to 12pm so service doesn't stop at the same time people are supposed to check out.

The location on the Columbia River facing the mountains is beautiful. The rooms are updated, clean, and maintained by an friendly, efficient staff. The restaurant is excellent. We noticed many locals eating here. If you are visiting this area stay here.

I travel a ton for work and stay at best westerns frequently. This one is fabulous would gladly stay again it’s beautiful in setting and in appointment.

We always stay here when we come to Hood River because of the pet friendly rooms. We've always found the rooms to be very clean, the staff are very friendly, and the restaurant is excellent.

This hotel is very good. The location is amazing - by the Columbia river with easy access to a walkway by the river. The riverside rooms have beautiful views. It’s a must to save some time to enjoy the hotel grounds and riverside areas. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The restaurant is great - good food for both breakfast and lunch/dinner and great seating areas with views of the Columbia river. Staff is very friendly. Overall, a great experience!

On the river, connected to the Riverfront walk to the marina and breweries. Wonderful outdoor pool (not sure if it's heated, but it felt perdect to us) + hot tub!

Spent a weekend there to attend a wedding in Hood River. This hotel was fantastic! We had a riverfront view, and the scenery was amazing. The room was clean, comfortable, friendly staff, and had all the amenities. One of the few hotels I have stayed at where the restaurant was actually quite good. They also have a nice riverfront paved path that goes for a few miles. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Beautiful place. Prices are a little high for a no view room. Hot tubs are nice (main reason we booked) views from the pool are incredible and definitely romantic. Bar makes great drinks. Restaurant closes early, but the bar has a limited menu.
The bar food menu is pricey but you get BIG PORTIONS!
You can share the calamari easy with four people. We made the mistake and ordered 2 items thinking they'd be small. We couldn't finish either.
Sharing a plate. You can always order more if one item isn't enough for y'all.

We got there early and were allowed to check in early. The rooms were comfy and clean and the restaurant was great.

I would suggest a top floor room, the views are great. We took a first floor room to be able to check in early which still had a great view, but I can imagine what it would like higher up!!
