The playground has been redone and it's amazing! There's a little playground for toddlers that's actually small enough for your baby! Enough shade to block the sun, all around a pretty cool park. :)

If you want to take the kids to fly kites Morningside park is the place to go.There's plenty of room for dogs to run and fetch or for just getting outside!! Plenty of room shouldn't even have to worry about social distancing .If you know where to look you can also get sassafras root to make a delicious tea but leave some so there will always be more for years to come.if you can find it .Hint "TWIN HILLS" ILOVE MORNINGSIDE PARK .It has everything the imagination can hold

Morningside Park is an excellent park for Mountain Bikers. The park includes a large pump track as well as a surprisingly large trail network. The trails and tracks are very fun and well built.

The new MTB trails are a great addition to the park. Love the growth of mountain biking in Roanoke, and new additions being added here. Will definitely visit often.

Was great! First time my lil boy was on a mtn bike and it was awesome. He is hooked. Great job on making some great trails.

Really big field and several playgrounds located just beneath the "Mill Mountain Star". There is also an active community garden.

This is the best park out of all I think in Roanoke. Very few come here but they definitely need a security there with what I've seen ......

This is my favorite park in Roanoke! It's never crowded and there's plenty of space for the kids (and dogs) to play.
