First I want to give a recap on what happened July 30 with an employee I won’t name no names let’s just say today I walked in July 31 and Muhammad did an amazing job and I wanna thank you again for being such a kind hearted man. thank you so much you deserve it and don’t believe everything you hear especially when that one person don’t like me again no names but I’m just saying I have witnesses there that no I did not say anything bad about you now I did say she didn’t know how to do her job OK I’ll stop that’s all I’m gonna say Because I’m gonna let it go because you asked me to and I’m not gonna cry over spilt milk. Keep doing what you’re doing Muhammad.!!

I am a female Muslim and I wear a niqab (face covering). I was asked to remove my face mask and I advised that it's a religious covering. I was told that if I did not remove it I would be asked to leave. I left quietly; however, I want to add that I have been in this store with my religious covering before and there is no sign saying no face masks. This is just the start of people stripping away religious identity. This happened the night of 4/13/2023.

I am providing an update because it's only right to bring awareness when things improve. After my initial complaint the store owners were diligent in responding to the issue. I've even personally went to the store and spoke to one of the managers and I have been advised that the employees have been educated and trained on how Muslims dress. I appreciate the awareness and the time they took to handle the situation. So I'm increasing my star rating. Because it's the try that matters and the initiative that counts. That's how differences towards improvement happen. Without it, we don't learn.

Michie is a great employee. He always greets you every time you come in. Food is always fresh when he’s there and he’s always busy working

This is a great 7 eleven. I see a lot of 1 star reviews but I am a regular here. Sure it is not in the best part of town but every time I go in here the staff is nice to me. Also the soda fountain here tastes FANTASTIC. The one over on Grandin is a nice store but the soda fountain does not taste as good.

Store owners wife is friendly hard working and engaging

I give this store a five star the employees there are real nice and respectful and nice so I recommend that everyone go there
