This place just hits the spot, amazing coffee by real coffee experts. When I'm not trying their awesome creations, I love getting flat whites along with any of their tasty pastries or homemade cakes.

Great place, sadly their entitled "employees" and their union will force this coffee shop to permanently close down its doors.
This is not corporate America or Starbucks, this place is owned by a hardworking couple.
This type of actions not only harm small businesses but negatively affect the view of real unions

Cute small location. In my top three favorite coffee shops for my latte addiction. Even better than the top notch coffee is the amazing staff. Great at what they do and they make you feel so welcome while doing it. I am always in a better mood after a visit there.

Beautiful local coffee shop, but the espresso didn’t taste very good to me.

I had really high hopes for good espresso here! Beautiful lever machines. And the employees were super friendly and everything was very nice. My espresso tasted pretty under-extracted (jerky-like?).

Maybe the barista we got was just new/hadn’t gotten enough training from more experienced employees—I’ll come by and try again!

Fabulous coffee, really high quality and consistent. Love that the employees are unionized as well. Shop is beautiful, and showcases wonderful local art and other fun things. This isn’t a place I’ve found to have the MOST welcoming or friendly employees, but that’s just not the vibe for every place. I’ve worked in coffee for years and appreciate that that’s just not what some shops go for, so that personal connection just isn’t why I patronize. Love what yall do and appreciate it!

Great place for a nice pleasant morning coffee and a bite! Amazing light roast coffee and delicious muffin to go with the coffee! This is definitely the place to stop by! The owner is the sweetest guy! Love the vibe this place gives out!

Delicious coffee and well priced for Boston rates. The Tokava coffee is my fav and the lavender lattes are also very good. The pastries aren't too sweet and yummy, especially the sticky bun and ginger scones. Parking is also available all along the street. Good spot to grab coffee!

Very quaint but chill vibe coffee spot in Jamaica Plain, Boston. Flat white was superbly made and served in a Fellows cup, which made for an impressive presentation and fun way to drink. Choice of bean here is Onyx Coffee Lab. Staff here were super informative and welcoming.

My friend and I went here on a recent Sunday, and were lucky to find two seats at the window. The employee was patiently and engaged. My friend’s coffee drink was delicious, and my iced latte was tasty. The lemon ginger scone was flavorful and not dry. The chocolate croissant was just okay. I like the vibe and would definitely like to go back soon for a regular drip coffee.

Stopped by here on our walk to recharge on coffee. Small and cozy coffee shop, and really nice baristas!

truly amazing espresso and coffee. all the baristas are extremely skilled, and the space itself is clean and aesthetically pleasing. their espresso machine is of the highest caliber. i have seen other reviews complaining of staff being pretentious or unfriendly, but i disagree; i would argue they are being misunderstood. just look at how wonderfully and carefully they made this americano; crema preserved and perfectly balanced:

Very cute little coffee shop! The employees are always so nice and they've got great lattes, especially the seasonal ones! The tokava delight is delicious if you like a sweet latte, but my favorite one of theirs (sadly seasonal though) is their cardamom latte!

7 Pond is easily my favorite coffee shop. Highlights:

* Espresso! They have an incredible house espresso, and a guest espresso that changes every week or so

* Affogato--a scoop of ice cream with their espresso poured over it

* Iced chai on a hot day (pictured below)

As for atmosphere, the shop has a light, airy feel to it. Jazz will probably be playing. I can write easily here.

Keep in mind: cash only under $10, no wifi, if you sit next to the window on a sunny day you'll feel like you're on the surface of the sun.

Quaint. Stopped in for a coffee and it was amazing. Grateful for the kids and fantastic for the coffee. Surprised to find it so accommodating if we wanted to stay, but we grabbed ours to go. Do not pass this place up.

This is the best coffee in Boston! AND New Management = friendly baristas. Pro tip - get a cider donut while you’re there.

We’re pretty particular about coffee in my household and this is some of, if not the best, espresso program in the city. The storefront is little but efficient - we love to grab coffee and a blueberry muffin and go to Jamaica Pond with the pup.

Great coffee and nice tasteful decor. Great use of a small space. Friendly baristas who know how to make good coffee.

Best oat milk chai I’ve had in a while! The spices came through. My spouse enjoyed the iced oat milk vanilla latte, which had a great floral flavor rather than being too sweet. No frills, but efficient and highly competent service. Will come again.

Love this place I am every week of not everyday. The coffee is unmatched in Jamaica plain and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable about there coffee ☕. They have a small menu but a well crafted one, you will enjoy ever item on the menu. They do not take cash so order online or bring you credit card. I highly recommend if you haven't been here yet to give them a try.

Very cute little shop with great lattes. They always have a nice little selection of art/ goods for sale. Recommend getting a coffee to go and walking around the Pond.
