This review is for a one time peaceful walk that we took along The Lubber Run Trail; a peaceful, nature trail that winds through the Lubber Run Park. The park offers a nice escape from the urban surroundings. The trail is well-maintained and offers a variety of natural sights including a stream, lush greenery. It's a great place for walking, running, or simply enjoying some quiet time outdoors. It must be a local favorite for those looking to enjoy a bit of nature while staying close to the city.

Restroom, benches, water fountain, pavilion and Amphitheatre on-site is a plus. Parking available on site.

A nice trail. Big enough to bike, run an walk. It’s beautiful in spring and fall, also summer. I lost my backpack there which couldn’t get a hold of anyone in there, but the trail itself is beautiful.

I’d recommend it if you’d like a long nice walk or run. Very beautiful!

Very quiet place. But so beautiful! We helped pick up trash on the creek. But it can get busy after 3pm

3 mile total back and forth. Good for a quick walk or run. Dogs are allowed just be careful there are dog owners walking their dogs with no leash even though there is a sign nearby stating dogs should be on a leash.

Great path with nice view of creek. Some parts branch off onto nice side parts, but they aren't paved. The main path is wide and paved. The trees provide good shade in the summer and pretty colors in fall. Good place for strollers and dogs. Gazebo lunch area and amphitheatre are great areas for groups and events.

Sweet walking trails, great park and rec center, and awesome amphitheater. Easy parking too.

Small but really nice Trail that has recently been upgraded. While it is a bit too much money spent on a public park I still think it's nice. I just wish priorities like education and health are prioritized instead of trails. For example, it would have been great if money was spent on ensuring that high schools in Arlington have enough space.

One of the most beautiful places in Arlington. You are in the middle of an urban/suburban area, but it's peaceful and largely quiet. The stream flows happily along, gurgling and sparkling and it is altogether appealing!

Lubber Run Trail was a very pleasant place to have a cookout for a large group of employees, it has Jiffy-Johns and overhead shelter in case of rain. Everyone had a fun time!

It's a gorgeous bit of nature close to home. I've seen ducks, deer, and beautiful birds. You can relax to the flowing sounds of water and escape. Or enjoy a picnic with friends

Nice shady trail along Lubber Run with several walking paths on both sides of Lubber Run. There's a nice county-maintained amphitheater in the middle and a number of picnic spots each with a table and grill.

This is an excellent stream valley park in the midst of urban housing in Arlington, VA. As with many of the urban streams a portion is made up of rubble from past building and drainage and channelization projects. If this stuff has been there for a while it gets overgrown and weathered and is almost part of the landscape. This stream cetainly has some of that but also lits of natural bedrock outcrops acting as edging and stream bottom. This is all mixed with natural stone and sand and whatever else has washed into the creek. But to be clear, what i saw was pleasant to look at and relaxing to walk along. I saw fish in the stream and little to no paper or plastic trash. There is an active ampitheater with sporadic arts events. I will go back to look around in the stream. We were observing myshrooms today and saw plenty of chantrelles and some chicken of the woods.

Hidden gem down the street from my house and I didn't know it was there until a few months after moving in. Fun place to take kiddos for walks and the temp there seems a little cooler than other areas due to shade from trees and water

Loved this area. My two year old had a nice time playing in the creek. They had bathrooms, an amphitheater. Very nice, will go again.

Great trail in Arlington, easy hike, lots of shade, streams and well maintained. Also plenty of markers so you know where you are going and where you came from :)
