Doc's Wine Shop

Fantastic selection of the wines of the world. The only game in town - not another "real" wine shop anywhere else in the Hayward/San Leandro area. Knowledgeable, highly trained staff to guide you through what otherwise might be a tough choice, as you will want one of everything!

Way long over due review for my favorite wine shop in the area. First off, I'm not a big wine person but a former partner very much so was. I was looking to splurge a bit for an anniversary, and spoke with the owner about the situation. We were able to find a bottle from the very city where my exes family was from. Long story short, relationship ended and I celebrated by drinking the wine with some friends (who are all wine snobs) and we all enjoyed it immensely. So thank you, docs wine shop, for changing my life. You're the place I recommend to anyone that I meet who wants wine

I've been shopping for wine at Doc's for at least 4 years. No matter whom is pouring a tasting, I find that person knowledgeable, friendly and extremely helpful. I've learned a great deal about many different varietals and what wine will compliment a specific cuisine. In addition to wine, look for a wide selection of beautiful Champaigns. You won't go wrong with Doc's Wine Shop in Hayward, CA!

Great local wine shop. Locally owned and operated. Focuses on higher end European wines, but can recommend some more moderately priced wines as well. Daily tastings. Very friendly ownership passionate about wine.

Great selection of wine and craft beer. One free tasting happens every day! The staff was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely come back here to get a nice bottle of wine.

Fantastic selection, knowledgeable staff, and very reasonable prices. This is where I go to get the bottle of wine that I am proud to bring to a friend's place for dinner or a party. So glad a store like this is in Hayward.
