Safeway

Very clean, friendly, and much more available than at the Safeway I usually go to near the intersection of Amador and Jackson. Worth driving a little farther to go to this Safeway if you are able.

This was the second Safeway I stopped by , had a craving for 7 layer dip both location didn't have it , however Francisco went above and beyond ask the store to make it fresh I AM Super HAPPY THANK FRANCISCO

Ronika the manager went above and beyond to take care of a situation that occurred at Safeway. She really calmed me down and showed me that there are still beautiful souls out there in the world. What a wonderful experience I had she really deserves all the praise and think Safeway should look into promoting her. She’s God sent

Always has what I'm look for. The cashiers are very friendly and nice. The cashier Ricardo is amazing and friendly

Conveniently located in downtown Hayward, this Safeway is the best to stop for grocery shopping. The parking lot is big and it feels safe around the area.

The store is very well organized, the employees always have a good smile for you and overall it’s a good customer service.

Well stocked. Reasonable waiting times from purchase lines to completing purchase. Sufficient staff assistance. Excellent fast food take outs. And enough self service spots to offer a reasonable alternative to staffed checkout lines. Efficient pharmacy. Overall a good shopping experience.

Excellent, very conveniently located, it's really good to have a Safeway here. The internal layout is pretty standard for this market and one can find most everything that is needed for regular grocery shopping. We love to go here especially when preparing a party outdoors. This time I picked up charcoal and party supplies (cups, plates) and soda for the kids. In and out in minutes, and with the Safeway card I saved over five dollars.

Well organized, clean, and had fresh produce. Enough staff at the checkout. Enjoyed the experience.

The produce and service is damn bear perfect. I have never had trouble finding good deals or parking for that matter. The lines do tend to get a bit long but that's no big deal. Their selection is enormous, very clean and taken care of. Parking is enough to cater to the amount of people who go shopping here. Using the app for extra savings is a bonus too! Can't beat it

My first visit to this location was quite positive. I was able to get everything that I wanted. They were out of frozen shrimp but the nice employee went to the storage room to get me some more. There are self check out registers which I like. The down side coming to this store is the parking area tends to be crowded especially during peak times.

It has almond milk and coconut yogurt (which of course are both non dairy) for those who are lactose intolerant. And a lot of non-dairy products. And animal supplies for those who have pets 😊 on and I usually get my medicine there and the pharmacy workers are really nice as well

Nice Safeway store. Big, clean, they've made some nice changes with the layout of the checkstands for better social distancing, I think. There's a Starbucks inside. And the strip center it's located in has a little bit of everything. Good, easy parking.

Hands down the best meat for a grocery outlet. The bakery makes the best jalapeno cheese bread! If you haven't tried it go for it, you won't be disappointed! They have a great rewards program that can save you lots of hard earned cash.

I went there for doing Instacart,but the store is bigger than the one which is closer to where I live ,and that store ,not as clean and doesn't have self checkout!

Omg, a Safeway store with great customer service! Give these people a big fat salary increase n please send the manager 2 the Alameda stores n train the people there! The department manager was incredibly helpful n even brought me a cart! The check out young woman was very nice n bagged the groceries. I'll have 2 go back n get their names n post it. Unexpected after shopping in Alameda stores 4 over 30 years.

This is my favorite store. I have been a customer for over eleven years. I know the store front and backwards. They have the best deals and the sweetest staff. And they all know me and my husband Larry of 35 years. I am disabled and they always have a cart for me. The food is always fresh and delicious. They are number one.
