Mike Pritchett gave me excellent customer service when it came to my purchases and useful information.

I would like to express my great appreciation to all associates of American Family Pawn and Guns and specifically to an owner Mike and a sales person, Conor.
The transaction was smooth and timely. The item I have purchased, exceeded my expectations. There were not many pictures of the item and I just asked Conor for his honest opinion about the item during our phone conversation. After that I relied on his description fully during a conduct of this transaction.
I highly recommend this business and I will not hesitate to use their service in a future.

After reading reviews I told myself I’ll come in with an open mind. Sold my firearm here and was happy with the offer and I was out the door within ten minutes. I can see where customers feel they’re not being treated nicely, oh well have some tougher skin.

I love this place! The store is bright, clean and organized. You forget it's a pawn shop at all. The gun selection is fantastic! Can't wait to go there and get my Smith & Wesson. The staff is really professional - they were knowledgable about the gun I want, let me take my time browsing their selection, and answered all my questions. I also really like the selection of electronics and music instruments. Never been in a pawn shop like this before! Great job American Family Pawn & Guns - I'll definitely be back!

Nice guys BUT my experience has made me spread this word of caution!
I took a pistol here ( among a couple other items) and left it with a worn leather holster and a matching clip case with an extra clip. After leaving it for 3 weeks I returned to pick up my belongings. Everything was fine EXCEPT there was no holster or clip returned ( probably shame on me for leaving it as it added no value). As I thought about it for a second, I distinctly remember leaving it with my pistol But when I questioned it the response was "you didn't leave it or I would have written it down". I even saw a holster similar to mine behind the counter and pointed it out. The response was, without offering to show it to me, "that's not yours".
I can't prove that my holster and clip is still with American Pawn & Gun, unless I can dig up the pictures I took of it when I purchased it, But I do now have my suspicions.
They are friendly and seemingly fair people, But sadly because of my suspicions and my new found distrust for American Pawn & Guns I will not return for pawn or purchase " Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me."

The National Pawnbrokers Association code of Ethics states:
*Strive to conduct their business in such a manner as to enhance and promote the positive and professional image of all pawnbrokers.
*Transact business with customers and the general public in an honest, forthright manner making service with integrity a constant goal.
Based on my experience I don't feel American Family Pawn & Guns has committed to these standards therefore, I can not in good conscience recommend their services.
My intention is to share my experience with the National Pawnbrokers Association and the offices that govern these types of businesses.
I share these words of caution hoping that you do not become a victim as well.
Pretty sad when we can't even trust the nice guys!

AN UPDATE 7/20/2017 - I received a phone call from Mike early this afternoon. He called to say that He made an error and offered a reasonable explanation. To save Mike from anymore embarrassment on this matter, I choose not to elaborate and just say He made an error, Manned up and made things right. FYI - this is a family business and Mike took his mistake to heart and offered a sincere apology... while his Father smiled, acknowledged his son's error and stated this would not happen again and it would be sometime before Mike would live it down 😉. Kidding aside, American Family Pawn & Guns took steps to correct an issue and make it right. Not all people or Companies are humble enough or concerned about their patrons to step up like this. ( By the way, Mike went above and beyond making this right as he realized that I needed to travel 56 miles from home to shop and back). I respect this action and will return for more business in the future. To all new customers- you are in good hands with American Family Pawn & Guns!

Fantastic folk up here, great service too.

Went to go buy my first suppressor. I was lost in the sauce on how the process worked. When I walk through the entrance I was greeted with friendly staff and told them why I was there. Using the kiosk could be a little confusing for your first time, but they stood next to me and assisted me with all my questions from the time I walked in till the time I walked out.

Mike and the guys down at American Family Pawn are great. They helped me out from a few states away with pictures are great communication to help set up a deal. You guys are fantastic. What they tell you is what you get. Honest, and professional. Thank you again guys!!!

I don’t care what everybody else saying but I love the store they treated me nice and they got everything I need five stars all the way I forgot the name of the two guys that sold me my gun but I will be back

Mainly dealt with the son when I bought my IO INC AK47 from here he was very knowledgeable and helpful answered all my questions and they had alot of nice firearms there

Best pawn shop I've ever been too and with the father and son team they're the most knowledgeable people I've met especially when it comes to Glocks!!!

The staff if very friendly and they actually have a very good selection of firearms for fair prices. I recommend giving them a visit.

Great place to do business. You can find things here for prices unseen elsewhere definitely becoming a regular customer.

Very knowledgeable staff, dont disrespect them with dumb offers and act like a crack head and they will treat you just fine.
