CVS

The pharmacy staff is really caring, they are efficient and I have had several diagnoses recently and need a few major surgeries. I am in the cvs at least weekly. The pharmacy team always helps me. Everything from checking meds for allergic reactions (with phone calls to manufacturers), calling my insurance company when they frustrated me beyond belief, and sharing information about goodrx where I save almost $100/month. The employees up front are either extrovert cheery or introvert pleasant. They give me tips on couponing and are down to earth. I'm thankful they're so close, they brighten my day!

I've never had an issue with this CVS. Yes, the pharmacy can be slow at times but they're doing their jobs and sometimes a little patience is required.

If your there always say hello to the best person there her name is Cynthia Bernard always ask for her she is one of the best! The store is very nice and all the employees are nice, efficient, and attentive (especially Cynthia Bernard!)

Friendly staff.

Everyone employee have encountered has been super friendly. Our biggest issue is the wait times, meds have to be ordered causing significant delays and errors that have occured with scripts. Ever since the beginning of the year, not sure if there was a system change/upgrade/?? but we have had errors occur with scripts for few members of our household (ex: partial filled then go back when told & they can't find remainder) and issues locating scripts sent in. All that said, the staff have been helpful in trying to figure it all out. Yet, this causes wait times to be longer and delays for others. I think CVS didn't do a good enough demographic study when placing that store in Powhatan and collapsing the 2 stores in to one.

Seriously, trying to line up my meds is a joke. I am picking up my medicine like 7 different times a month. Forget a call back when they get an update, an approved refill or insurance approval. I have to call and get something fixed at least every month. Thought this was a good move but it was only the biggest mistake.

Ok it seems like ever since cvs shut down the 2 old Cvs stores in powhatan and built the new one the quality has gone down, there is alot of new staff with a few of the old staff and they seem to be constantly in a state of being over worked, not enough of them it seems..
There great people just always trying to catchup..
And if you call up there and are on hold you got to listen to that terrible music please change the song ..

The drive thru is ridiculous. It's at least a 15+ minute wait all the time. This store underestimated how many people would utilize it in Powhatan.

Nice employees. But the absolute slowest and least convenient drive thru I have ever experienced.

They are so incredibly rude here. They never answer the phones. One time I waited TWO hours on the phone just to see if they’d answer. They didn’t. Another time I waited on the phone and was hung up on after another lengthy wait. I’ve never seen the level of disservice I’ve seen here, and am utterly confused on exactly who allows this location to continue operating so poorly. They must be competing for worst CVS in the nation.

Everytime I need a RX I have to wait hours to get it . The Dr sends it over immediately and cvs doesn’t check their system so you wait and wait …. When you call ahead of time to prepare them they have an attitude. Worst pharmacy ever

IF YOU HAVE LIFE SAVING PRESCRIPTIONS DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY! Can you give zero stars? This pharmacy (CVS in general) screwed up my prescriptions so badly I had to transfer them back to my drug store three states away. Incompetent to say the least. A nightmare overall.
