Ballston Animal Hospital

Took our fur baby to the Ballston Animal Hospital for a small bump on his shoulder. Was able to get an appointment ASAP, and the magic started. The veterinarian was amazing as well the support staff. Was able to speak directly to the staff, and my dog was taken care of without question. We were in/out in no time. If you have veterinary needs, please check out Ballston Animal Hospitals. Ballston Animal hospital is a great vet, everyone who works there is kind and welcoming. The vet tech treated my nervous cat so nicely and did her best to make him feel comfortable. Would recommend for any cat parents!

Dr Scher, all the veterinary technicians (especially Tony!) and the front office staff are incredibly kind, patient and considerate. My little guy (Harry) can be a spicy ginger in his old age, and everyone is incredibly supportive and understanding. I cannot recommend Ballston Animal Hospital highly enough. Thank you to the whole team for what you do!

Helped with ongoing allergy issues including referrals to specialist. This has resulted in much more manageable treatment when the issues arise. Love their staff and doctors. Have had vets in Seattle and Nashville who haven’t been able to provide as much knowledge during allergy consultations.

The staff here are so friendly and welcoming to my pup and me. My pup has struggled in the past at the vet but because of the loving and patient staff at Ballston Animal Hospital, he always does so well.

I have been going to Ballston around the last year by a coworker recomendarion. I'm more than happy with them, nothing to do with Bandfield, the worst of the worst. They do care for me and my pet, they are always kind, explain everything very good, charge ALWAYS the same, and they let me stay present at all moments. They are a clearly 10 for me, and for Thor!

We previously took our babies to a commercial Vet. HUGE mistake! You never get the same Vet and your babies feel uneasy with a new stranger each time. We decided to go to Ballston Animal Hospital. BEST CHOICE EVER! We have a dedicated primary Vet who actually loves them. While she is conducting her examinations she speaks to them, holds them and even gives them kisses. They love that comfort and we appreciate it very much!

Dr. Gallitz is amazing. My baby boy of 9 years was sick and she put my mind at complete ease. We’ve used Ballston Animal Hospital for 12 years and Veterinarians like Dr. Gallitz are the reason why!!! Here’s my boy who is feeling SO much better!!

They take care of my GSD since she was a puppy and my elderly cat with asthma. Always very thorough and gives options for care if possible. Love them.

Growing up, my family always took our pets to Ballston animal hospital. Now as an adult I drive out of my way to take my cats there because it's the best around. They are very accommodating with appointments and they are always very kind, patient, and welcoming. Most importantly, they give excellent, quality care. I completely trust their care of my pets. Their pricing is also quite reasonable (especially for North Arlington). I never have the fear that decisions are being made based off their financial gain. I strongly recommend them 👍

Super thorough vet and very knowledgeable about cats! Unfortunately couldn’t solve our problems but was able to refer me to an orthopedic instead of prescribing medicine or doing tests just to make more money.

COVID-19 sitch: you unfortunately can’t go in with your fur baby but once they take your pet inside they call with you within 5 min with a thorough update - or at least this was my experience. You stay in the car the entire time

The doctors and staff at BAH are wonderful and I would and do recommend them to anyone I know with pets.

As a first time pet owner, it’s hard to know where to even begin with choosing a vet, but would choose BAH 10 times over. I’ve had such a great experience with my 65lb mutt here! Since getting him last summer, we’ve been to the vet a handful of times. The reception staff, techs, and vets have been so friendly and kind each time, responsive to questions, and incredibly helpful. They’re great with my very, very anxious pup!

Ballston Animal Hospital has always had the best vets and techs. They are kind to both the pets and the people, and are informative and compassionate. Making appointments is quick and easy. Regarding pet care, Ballston Animal Hospital gives you one less thing to worry about!

Dr. Collins is fabulous! He stays with us 20-25 min and answers all our questions. He and the whole team are so compassionate and gentle with the animals. Very grateful to have found this practice.

My vet for 22+ years (2 cats and a dog). Providers and staff are always caring and professional. Haven't compared pricing to other vets in the area. Lack of urgent care for existing patients is unfortunate. I’ve had to take cats to Southpaws or Columbia Pike animal hospital for conditions my vet could have treated if they weren’t “too booked solid” to see their own patients when sick.
Online pharmacy for prescription pet food, Covetrus, has been hit or miss with customer service.

I’d been here for an appointment with my cat and it was a great experience. Kind staff with clear care for animals. When I had to put my poor old boy to sleep, they were very patient and made me feel I placed him in good hands on his final day of life. Couldn’t say anything but kind words about this place.

Best vet in the area, the staff is kind and ready to help.
Even when my Chloe is sick and we need a last minute appointment they are always ready to take care of her.
We move to another city but we still come here because Ballston Animal Hospital is the best !

WILL NEVER SWITCH VETS! I moved out of Arlington and still bring my pup to Ballston. The staff are warm and friendly and truly love animals. They only diagnose what is needed to keep your animal healthy. Dr. Ganesh is an absolute Angel and if she leaves I will follow.
