Giant Food

A compact, efficient store with better prices than its nearby competitors. Not as fancy as nearby competitors, but I want to pay for food not architecture. Sale prices are usually very good, but not always: Giant should not advertise 5¢ off on a $3 item as a sale. Variety is good. Bigger stores mostly put more of the same item on the shelves. Here the staff works hard frequently restocking (just like Trader Joes). Compact layout means I can fill my cart faster and with less walking. Produce is usually good, but sometimes not fit for human consumption, so need to be careful buying produce. Staff is friendly and helpful. Giant recently cut back on cashiers and put in self-checkout stations, which I avoid. Cashiers are faster and friendlier. The self-checkout machines frequently double scan items and expect me to type in numeric codes for produce.

Many thanks to the very kind and helpful woman who manages the balloon/gift/floral department. She called personally to ensure we would receive our order in time and really made such a personalized effort to make sure all our balloons were perfect. Many thanks Ms. M for all your assistance, as well as the Lyon Village Giant store manager on duty 07/08, who was also very helpful.

Well stocked. All sale items in stock. Great prices on clearance items in the rear left corner of the store.
Helpful staff, especially self checkout. Easy to park close to the front door.

Nice establishment right off Rt 29. Easy access and exit through s traffic light. There is ample parking on site. The store is large and well stocked with just about anything you desire. The staff is knowledgable and helpful. I forgot my courtesy card last week. The friendly teller didn't hesitate to use hers to help me with my purchase.

Small store I shop at usually until recently. They had no stock on many things
Today I scored and things appear to be improving. I got my paper towels, bagette and about 12 other hard to find items. I was so happy that I bought the 1 lb of fresh strawberries with 2 lbs free! Eating some now. Instead of lemons, Giant gave me fresh fruit!! Tthanks from a 😊 customer.

During checkout today I had the sweetest cashier who made my day. I wish I caught his name. He was so pleasant during such a busy time for the return of Football season. He surely brightened up my day!

It's a nice store. But for some reason Googlr Map's id nor detecting this store and showing a different store.

Excellent food quality, easy to get to location, I find everything that I am looking for when I come to this location. I think they should have an extra ramp from the sidewalk to the loading dock parking lot. They should have better accessibility.

It's a little more expensive but offers a more robust and pleasant shopping experience than Safeway. The deli counter is great and I never have to wait long like I do at Safeway. They also have Board Head which is a big plus.

Katherine at Giant Pickup is very friendly and nice! She is also very helpful if there are any mix ups with your order

Good affordable food and friendly customer service. I'm a big fan of using online pickup and haven't had issues.

My first time with my family and we are very open well my youngest 3 yr old and man he is very open well any ways the store employees there were very nice I loved the environment and the lady that cashed us out was and is AMAZING! Her name was LYNN thank you for making our visit there great thanks is to her.

A pretty convenient location that has good specials, bakery, deli, ect. No complaints at all. Their clearance section is great to check out too

Getting ready to close I think Thanksgiving Eve waa so sick was dileriouse .but even though was so extremely bad off had a friend give me a ride threr and they where very nice people.sorry still very dilieriose probably going no scratch that going to HOSPITAL .glad I was able to get shopping done thank you .oh stood away from anyone so they would not get sick to I pray .bleass y'all and thank you .BECKY

It's a very well organized store and they have a great offer in all kind of products. Attention very kind and polite. Open 24/7
