Beautiful, the lovely person that runs the bookstore is spot on, guest relations is always very polite and warmly kind, like a fuzzy blanket.., the book selection is eclectic, and have various price ranges. Highly recommend on a rainy day or just for a little bit of peace on an ever bustling and noisy day..escape to this bookshop and enjoy.

Nice people, atmosphere, and most importantly, great books! The selection feels so in touch with the area it's a part of (not just because people can ask for books), almost like the entire shop is a curated work in itself. Will definitely make this spot an often one to visit.

Everything about this store is perfect. Renee has a fantastic selection of books and will happily order something for you if she doesn't have it. It's definitely a community place, with Saturday morning children's reading corners and special events. Don't shop at the Rainforest Company online; buy local and support bookstores.

Yes I might be able to get it cheaper online . Yes I might not have to drive from Union City. But the service Renee gives is awesome. Her books are amazing. If she doesn’t have it in she will order it for you. And the incidentals she carries are perfect to go with that book you might be ordering for that special someone. This is the bookstore to go to. I always try and support the local place.

We need more places like this in our lives. A real honest to goodness bookstore. Really great selection of the unique books, great reads, and quality items. If they don’t have it the owner is amazing at looking things up and getting special orders in. She was even able to get books that online AtoZ shops didn’t carry. Really nice kids section and have seen them doing events like story time.

Books on B is a charming, robust bookstore full of heart and soul. They carry pristine quality used books and an enticing collection of new classics and socially relevant books for both children and adults. I felt like a kid in a candy store; every shelf offering more good reads.
Renee is smart and kind, and will order anything you dream up. The best part is that Books on B gives back to the children of our community through local nonprofits, schools, and the Children's Hospital. I can't imagine a better bookstore right here in our community. Yay!

Fabulous service. Renee was able to order books for me that she did not stock. The transaction and pick up could not have been easier with a scheduled pick-up time due to COVID. I will certainly plan a return visit when I have more time to wander the aisles.

This place is magical. Renee is truly one of the nicest and most helpful person I know and you couldn't ask for a better local bookshop. She has a good selection on a wide variety of topics (and many are 2nd hand to save you some money) and what she doesn't have she's always happy to order in (which is always quick and easy). She has comfy chairs that are perfect for reading to yourself or even snuggling in with your kid. I love this place.
I recommend swinging by with a cup of coffee, take your time and leave with a new friend or 10.

One of the coolest Bookstores I have been to. They have an amazing book selection! I was able to find some of my favorite authors. The vibes were very welcoming and you feel right at home. I’m looking forward to going back and picking up a few more books on my list!

Love it here, and love how the owner is legit a part of the neighborhood. Of course I come here for books but also like to grab a pair of earrings and a puzzle. Super warm and friendly atmosphere here!

Per website instructions, I sent an email describing what I would be browsing for, stopped by 30 minutes later and there was a delightful selection of books waiting for me to look through. The people here are great! The store is very COVID safe (service at the door, no entry) and has a wonderful selection of locally-focused books. I asked for plant identification books and looked through books on Bay Area plants, garden mixology, Native American traditions, and they offered to email me when more books on the topic came in.

I've always loved the selections and services at this location. While everyone there is obviously an avid reader, I felt no judgement for just wanting to pick up a new copy of my favorite young adult series. They've always got what I'm looking for, book or comic, and if they don't, they order it. Highly recommend.

This store is really nice.. Its good to finally have a locally owned book store. You get used and new books at really great prices. The owner is this amazingly friendly person. Smiling and always ready to help you find whatever you want. They have a big selection and i bought quite a few 2nd hand ones too and saved a lot of money. I love coming here. Just makes me feel so calm and happy.
