A lovely bookstore! They had a wonderful selection of cards that I cannot wait to send to friends.

This is one of our favorite shops to browse. My tiny human and I make a habit of picking up cute greeting cards and a book here when we are in the area. I never leave empty handed.

The prices are great, especially the used books that are in excellent condition.

This used books store is EVERYTHING! I hadn't gotten lost in the pleasure of a book store in a LONG time and this store captivated me. Made several purchases for myself as well as purchases for my classroom. Teachers...great deals on used, great quality children's books (many less than $5). Highly recommend spending some time wandering the shelves of this store.

Highly recommend! Great bookstore with tons of books, cards, gifts, and more. I grew up in Oakland and used to frequent Pegasus Books then; I moved away a long time ago and just recently went back for a visit; here we are a couple decades later and it's still going strong! As I always mention in my reviews when relevant, going here supports a small, local, independently owned business.

Real gem that we were lucky to find so close to our Airbnb. Has long opening hours 7 days a week, which is good because the variety could have you browsing for hours and returning! A wide selection of new and used books and other book related items, polite staff and some reviews of certain books on the shelves. Prices are reasonable too. Definitely check it out if near College Av!

I LOVE this book store! It is small, friendly, well=stocked, and pleasantly light. More importantly, the staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful when it comes to finding a book you've been longing for but have been unable to find. I live within a few blocks of this store, but if I lived across town, I'd still make the trip to shop here.

A smallish independent bookstore with a comprehensive collection of just about all the titles you're looking for. Magazines & greeting cards & calendars. (Don't miss their once a year New Year's Day calendar sale, 3 for $12) Located near coffee shops in a neighborhood with a diverse selection of goods & very walkable.

Pegasus is one of my favourite places to peruse. There are several bookstores in the area, but my friends refer to Pegasus as "the good one."
This little shop has a selection of new and used books that seems to always have something delightful to discover and staff that is patient and happy to help.

I love this shop. Support local bookstores!! Don't waste your money shopping on Amazon. You can find any book you want through Pegasus in person or online.

Great place for reasonably priced gifts. Every January 1st there's a massive calendar sale with locals lined up around the block awaiting the opening of the store. The calendar selection is still good in the afternoon when it's quieter.

Pegasus is one of my favorite book stores in the whole world. I've grown up in this bookstore and watched rockridge change over the past 25 years. This store never disappoints. The booksellers are experts in their field and offer epic recommendations. Thank you for being my home away from home.
