A classic Trader Joe’s experience and products you know you’ll always get. That does come with the hectic parking lot, so be careful and be aware of your surroundings.
Sometimes I’m not sure if the cashier wants me to bag my groceries or not when i bring reusable bags? What’s the etiquette on that nowadays…

Always great. Well-stocked, awesome staff, great music playing all the time! Singing encouraged - you'll find someone to sing with for certain!

Management was chill, Alexis was very well mannered and professional and had great energy! Positive experience shopping during rush hour.

As usual with all TJ stores that I visit the place was speaking clean, shelves filled (or being refilled) with great food by great co-workers that would stop what they were doing to assist you with any issues!

Always a great experience. I absolutely love Trader Joe's. They have the best cuts of fresh packed salmon. Vegatables & Fruit are fresh, minimum bruising, handled with care.My box of Nectarines cost 6.99. I literally paid $5 for 4 Nectarines at another grocery. Never again. So many healthy choices to choose from.The staff is always polite and will stop to answer any of your questions. They make you feel like your shopping experience is important. You may not find everything because it's not like a Traditional Grocery, however the things you will find will be worth it. I shop at multiple stores anyway so this doesn't bother me at all. See ya next week Trader Joe's 😂😂

Always clean & always stocked or in the process of more stock going on the frequently shopped shelves. Help is usually just a few steps away👀 and easily recognized🌺. The lines move fast. The quality of the food is trustworthy, dependable, 😋 deliscious. Prices I'm grateful for. The smaller floor plan is the perfect size for many of us to find our essentials🍎 and enough other temptations🍺🍝. Only complaint?... A location does not exist in my current hometown of Martinez but most days I pass 4 of them on my commute in & out of Oakland.

Trader Joe's is always quality but the staff at this location are particularly great!

Specifically Ivan- seems like he's always working and every time I have a question, he asks me if I need help before I even decide to ask! Then he makes sure to find me an answer no matter what! He's been incredibly helpful on several different occasions which is awesome when so many products come and go fast! Just wanted to shout him out because he's been so awesome and friendly

Great grocery, low prices. Nothing goes on sale. Everything is affordable. Wine and beer at my location. Trader Joe's own brand never disappoints.

My favorite and only Trader Joe's I'll go to in Oakland! Of all the 3 I think I the city it is the best overall. The Emeryville one may have a bit better parking though. But this one is bigger inside. Always stocked. The staff are definitely the friendliest that I've met in the city. And a lot more space to move around between aisles. Definitely recommend!

The Rockridge TJs is one of the most well-run stores I’ve been to. Amazing staff that keep shelves stocked, lines moving, and make the store really be part of the neighborhood.

A gold standard for how to run a grocery store.

I enjoyed my experience here. I was desperately looking for pizza dough, and one of the workers was really nice and sweet to show me where the dough was. I definitely recommend this place. Good service, good prices, and amazing products 👌

Hadn't been to Trader Joe's since 2014. They still have interesting choices of items. Prices are of course, much higher than the past.

Excellent variety and fair prices. Great organic selection. Wine choices were very good with incredibly low prices. Service was very friendly. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. Great local grocery.

Never fear Trader Joes is here! Man this location is so freaking busy. But I love it. It’s small and packed and thankfully all the covid lines are gone! The staff here is super nice and helpful and will always check the back for you. I like the quirkiness of the staff too.. But I’ll be damned if they don’t need a bigger parking area. Hahahha. What a busy spot!
