Washington Park

Lots of space and little peaceful park squirrels running everywhere with a few separate play areas! Tennis below and volleyball up top. Tons of fun.

Nice park. Overall very peaceful and gives a great view of the bay. I'm a part 107 certified pilot and got the auth to take some wonderful drone pictures on a nice day.

This place is great for picnics! It is close to the water, has bathrooms, park benches/tables, plenty of walkways and of course, a beautiful view of the bay. Great place when the sun is out. This is a busy spot so get there early or reserve a picnic site. Enjoy!

I grew up playing at this park back when the train was still there. It is definitely beautifully redone, but I miss that train!

Great park with lots of grass space. Perfect for picnics and BBQ's. Parking can be challenging on weekends. Great sized basketball courts. Large baseball field. Large and small play structures. 3 sets of swings. Wood chip ground covering in play structure area. Decent sized sand box with shade. Lots of cute ground squirrels. Watch where you step for goose poop. Gender specific public bathrooms near play structure.

Nice big well maintained public facility in Alameda. Clean!! Nearby beach. Plenty of street and lot parking when we went. Hardest part was getting off the island into downtown Oakland.

This had one of the best dog parks I've been to. A huge gated area with a natural environment for the pups to play on.

Nice park, love the swings, basketball court is amazing thanks to the Warriors, tennis courts are well lit and free to use. There’s 2 baseball fields that have several teams that use them. Gorgeous giant trees that provide good shade and super pleasant to view.

Love this park, definitely one of my favorites go-to park. I love seeing the younger generating playing basketball and having fun. And kid playing at the playground. It is just a sight of relaxation.

Great dogpark and dog parents! My older boys love it!

Took the kids for a first time beach experience. They had a great time. Beach was nice and clean. There were two bathrooms within walking distance. We would definitely go again.

Awesome dog park. My dog had never been to a dog park. I know he had the time of his life yesterday. He got along so well with the other dogs. I think we've found our home group of dog parks. Yeah Papoose.

This has got to be one of the best parks I have ever been to. It's so big and is attached to other parks like Crown Beach and Crab Cove. It's a beautiful place to go walking with the family. There's so many places the kids can stop along the way and play and enjoy the scenery.

They have over one million blades of grass here.... And a nice dog park.

This is a nice spacious park with softball fields, basketball courts and tennis courts. There are picnic areas and even a workout "gym" area.

We came this time for the playgrounds. Two different playgrounds for different age levels. There's a fence around both play areas to keep the kids from wandering off. Great for parents! Nicely designed sandbox with a public servant theme.

Fun fact: this park used to be ocean side until they added land fill. Where it ends going west is where the landfill starts and the the state park begins.

Large neighborhood park. Well maintained playground for children. Public bathrooms, water fountains. Numerous picnic areas, some with grills for cooking. Athletic fields, basketball and tennis courts, nearby dog park. Jogging/walking trails. Parking lot at a fee, free on street parking. Adjacent to Crown Beach with good views. Very busy on weekends.
