Had albondigas soup which I hadn't had in ages. They tasted as I remember!! Deliscious.Delicious. my friend had the chile relleno. Good too. The inside of the place is OK. Nothing fancy. They serve beer. Good service.

I came for a casual lunch, and not too often do I have such a nice experience at a restaurant.
The salsa had very fresh flavor, the grilled chicken sope had a wonderful sauce, and as a final treat the dairy-free gluten-free Coconut Flan was delicious. As a person with food sensitivities i really appreciated that they featured this item.
Prices are good.
The servers are friendly and attentive. Obelisco sets a model for eateries regarding quality food and service.

The food and service was really good. They give you chips and salsa, both green and red they were both good spicy but not too much. I had the flautas ($12) delicious, they weren't your everyday simple flautas. They covered them with sour cream, pico, guac, lettuce, and a little salsa whcih you don't get everywhere. And my husband had the carne asada which even came with a salad, rice, beans, little green onions, and a roasted jalapeño. Oo and some guacamole. Added plus it's really close to the BART station.

This is a hidden gem in the area. The food is fresh and tasty. The staff is friendly and attentive. The boss takes care of all who enter there. Totally recommend!

Incredible. This place serves habernero salsa with its chips. Three salsa types come to your table to start you off. The shrimp and fish tacos are out of bounds. So good I forgot to take a picture. Get off the Fruitvale Bart stop and make your way here.

Everything I've eaten there was very good love the grilled shrimp tostada salad

Obelisco is an awesome restaurant with delicious tacos at a great price! Obelisco also catered our wedding. Working with Leticia was easy and everything went perfectly as planned. I highly recommend Obelisco catering for affordable, excellent food.

honestly the BEST customer service experiences i have ever experienced! the food was amazing and super fresh (great vegan options) and the service was out of this world. the employees were super attentive and friendly in the most organic way! very clean, and decorated extremely well! plants all around added to the comfort!! i highly recommend this place to anymore not only looking for amazing food, but kind people to serve you! thank you so much for this amazing experience! 10/10!!!

Amazing food - a favorite! We still drive to the neighborhood to eat here, even though we moved to the other side of the Bay. The owner is extraordinary and the cooking is delicious. We not only go here for walk-in dining but have also used them to cater many times and they always do a great job.

Family owned, great mexican food! Super friendly and courteous staff. Great location at Fruitvale Bart station. Closed on Sundays. Monday through Saturday, open until 6 PM. White pork pozole is delicious!!!

Pazole is my favorite. Love the people, chill vibes, family run, and low key. Not sure if they have a full bar, but there is beer. All of the food I've had has been fresh, well prepared and seasoned well. I had the soup once and was hooked. The hearty hominy, cilantro, succulent chicken and perfect broth are a home run. It's a huge portion too so sit back and prepare to relax as you enjoy it with salsa picante.

Love this place. The food is awesome and you get such large portions for the price. The tostada salad with chorizo is so good. The barbacoa is delicious. The burritos are made with great ingredients and one regular sized burrito lasts me for both lunch and dinner. Plus the staff are super friendly. It's one of the best options around near Fruitvale!

Unique & delicious food, helpful service.

My supervisor went to get food to celebrate my last day interning at the nearby clinic. We had a big order to-go for our coworkers, and the cashier was helpful enough to calculate out the exact cost (with tax) for each person! What's more, the person who boxed up the food took the time to write each person's name from our list on top of their order box! And all of this was on time for our agreed pick-up time later that day.

You just don't expect that kind of time-intensive service, especially for a to-go order, and especially not in that area of Oakland.

Love it more than ever. This restaurant used to be called taco grill and was located across the street, but they moved into a larger space and it feels more like a restaurant now. Great food, best meat in the neighborhood (nieman ranch) and authentic flavors. They have beer in tap and outdoor seating too. My favorite taquera in fruitvale.

Great atmosphere, not very busy (have been for lunch and dinner). They offer chile verde with chicken instead of pork which is great for those with dietary restrictions.

I tried the pork chile verde taco and a carne asada taco. Both were very tasty and filled me up. We had coconut flan for desert that was delicious.

Great food! I have a hard time finding great Huevos Rancheros and I ordered it here. All I can say is INCREDIBLE flavor. Super affordable and the staff are very professional and friendly

The pozole here was quite good, as was all of the other food that we ordered. But in addition to great food, this is also one of the most welcoming and inclusive restaurants that I've been in. The staff were exceptionally kind and friendly.

The super burrito was huge.. the size of two burritos at a normal spot. Steak was tender but a little heavy on the rice but overall pretty good.

Great Mexican restaurant with the traditional fare. They try to use healthier alternatives so that the food is not as bad for you. They also have several vegetarian options!

A gem in the Fruitvale Station. Great food and polite staff. Good quality tacos. Try their tacos de lengua. The handmade tortillas are yummy and filling!
