Oakland's Most Powerful

AWESOME!! I've been getting into kettlebell exercises over the pandemic. I've read the books, joined the forums, and seen all the videos. Yet still, i felt like i needed professional guidance. My friend and I had 2 private lessons with Mel, she was the BEST! Very clear, patient, observant... so many good things. I'm not from Oakland, but i do travel through. I'll be hitting up Oakland's Most Powerful in the future. 6/5 stars.

Oakland’s Most Powerful is a kind and friendly community of people who are genuinely interested in improving their health, wellness, and their body’s abilities.
The three coaches, Luis, Melissa, and Alexei, are some of the most knowledgeable fitness experts I have ever met. They are constantly expanding their knowledge and bringing every new insight into the gym with them.

Exercising has always been a solo endeavor for me, trying my best to learn proper form on YouTube or following a list of directions on paper—but ultimately feeling like I’m just improvising. My experience at Oakland’s Most Powerful has proven time and again the value of having face-to-face feedback from real experts who care about how I feel while I’m learning and understand how to break down movements if I’m having trouble learning technique.

Fantastic trainers! They certainly know their trade, which made them very good at their job. But their passion and love for what they do is truly inspiring and makes them exceptional coaches. Always a pleasure to spend time at the gym. A caring/fun place to really get excellent results.

These guys are sensational. I wanted to learn proper kettlebell form and read about StrongFirst. Found that these folks had a foundational kettlebell class which was exactly what I was looking for. The three head coaches are three of the nicest, most knowledgeable, and dedicated people I've met in the fitness industry. The level of care and commitment they show to their clients is incredible. Their knowledge of body mechanics, form, and strength are tremendous. They are also dedicated and competitive practitioners of jiu-jitsu, which means that they really care about flexibility and strength more than aesthetics. Tremendous coaching.

This is the most zen gym in oakland and the staff at OMP is awesome! Just finished a great workout with Luis and ready for the next one.

Not your typical gym and that's a great thing. The trainers care and give you personal attention without breaking your wallet. Check this gym out and you won't be disappointed!
