I was heading to the pharmacy here, it was well staffed and efficient.

The grocery aisles seemed well stocked. I was in a rush so I didn't shop. There is fairly extreme security in place, limited access to get in or out. Sadly this is necessary in this era of organized theft. Many aisles had locked cabinets for mundane items, but if this keeps the store open I am in full support of it.

Safeway is a definite stop when I see one, as I have the "Just For U" app that gives a lot of discounts. Store was nice & clean, organized, cashier was very accommodating, pleasant. I also always go to the deli for the delicious deli made to order sandwiches. A good stop for us as we are on the road.

I Love the early morning hours opening up at 5:00am. There shelves are stocked well. Very friendly employees ready to assist with helping customers to find products. Thank you Safeway's much appreciated 👍🏼.

I like this store. It's always clean, the service is great and the meat and produce is always fresh. The only issue I had was self check out because of the new machine. It takes a while to scan because the machine talks after each scan & it was pretty slow for me. I scan items fast & go but it took longer than usual. This store has a deli & meat department as well. Overall my experience is always good here.

Cashiers are nice, so is the deli staff. I come here pretty regularly - neighborly feel to it. The parking lot can be a bit full and busy, but there is more parking on the size.

The store was clean, the staff was courteous, l did not have any difficulty locating my items, lastly, the meat was beautiful. My issue is meat. The colouring met my expectations. Their pricing was surprisingly affordable. Overall my shopping experience was pleasant. I will shop there again, as I have in the past.

The manager of the store is doing the best he can with sometime less than normal staff to do a great job! If you tell him something he will sure to get it or fix it for you. I nicknamed him Slim. LOL! This door is also very generous when it comes to donations for those who are need such as homelessness and giving away turkeys and vultures doing Thanksgiving in the holidays. Other than that the food is fresh, vegetables are fresh. Unfortunately the millennium's keep the prices up but they do try to have sales every now and then and they also run out of stock pretty fast, so they are constantly trying to keep the shelves full. The only complaint I have which is kind of minor is that this store does not have enough handicap parking. At least five stalls at the most. Also, so unfortunate that people come to this store to steal quite a bit. The Fruitvale district has grown quite considerably. Therefore, Safeway should probably think about building a bigger store in this area.

Don't be in a rush... make sure you order what you want, or they will just put whatever on your sandwich though. If you pay order exactly what you want.
Their soups are really good. They always have bottle water never run out. Go head on @ safeway!!!

They will bend over backwards for you anything you can dream of they have in stock. Employees go the extra mile with a big smile. They love customer service. They live for it here.

Staff has will usually go out of their way to help. My go to store. Best price on Skyy Vodka in the area

It's my go to place. Best price in town on Vodka. The employees are pretty cool they already know what I'm getting. So it's always smiles in,through, and out. Hey everybody keep it rockin. If your ever bored enough to read this. See you soon

This is my go-to Safeway, it's always clean and the staff are all friendly. Plus, if you utilize the app you can get some really great deals.

This is an excellent Safeway located in a great neighborhood! It is conveniently located in the heart of the Dimond district in Oakland. This location has the same wonderful selection that you find at almost all Safeways in the area. The store is never crowded on the weekends, even during major sporting events. The store employees are managing the Covid situation very well and every one wears masks while in the store. The cashiers are very quick and efficient and are very helpful in filling up the bags for you. This location also has a great parking lot that seems to have endless room and feels safe to leave your car while you shop for your groceries. Overall I like visiting this Safeway and always look forward to using this location for my grocery shopping.

I love safeway but there pick up order department needs alot of work..orders delayed incredibly long wait when you check In on the app..when you call the number it's uncertain if it will be answered..the staff is so apologetic and are very nice so I keep ordering...

I just love Safeway I've been looking for a whole ham since the beginning of October I went to Safeway to use the bathroom as I was going down the aisle something told me to look to the right and there it was the most beautiful whole ham anybody could want yey Thanksgiving is on

The store is good and has a great variety of food. But one thing is that the products are very confusing to find because some of them are not in the section or isle which are indicated in Shipt application.

I shop at Safeway every day for my groceries and at the deli for my sandwiches. The workers treat me so nice. During the week I go to Safeway on Fruitvale and on weekends I go the one where I live on Bancroft in San Leandro I'm treated well at both stores. I'm always bragging to others how friendly Safeway is. I'm going to continue making it my place to shop.
