Alameda Cinema Grill

I’ve been here a few times but I went for brunch this time. I had the Nutella French toast, it was sweet but really good.

Christine was our server and a few other servers helped out. The service was great, welcoming environment and nice food selections. No live music Father's Day but overall a great place to dine in Alameda. Patio seating and indoor available. PHOTOS: Steak and Eggs & Breakfast Sandwich.

Great breakfast menu. Simple but delicious. Great service, clean tables, friendly staff. Welcoming and overall great experience. Looking forward to next visit.

Looking for a local casual place to eat close to home one evening, my fiancee and I planned to go to Pappo's but felt it too formal for the occasion. We then checked out several smaller establishments nearby but none satisfied us until we looked across the street. Alameda Cinema Grill caught our attention. So that's where we headed. We were greeted graciously and seated quickly. We both ordered Grilled steak, Gorgonzola and Pear Salads with Shrimp added. COMPLETELY DELICIOUS!! The salad greens we're fresh and bouncy, the vinegrette light and flavorful and the thinly sliced steak almost fork tender. It was truly a meal in and of itself. BTW, although I can't recall the cocktails we ordered, I do recall how much I appreciated the Bartender's generosity, wink wink 😉

Love it here, one of our favorite places to come hang before a movie or just to get a drink. Bartenders are wonderful and attentive (and funny). The regulars a super nice as well. 4/5 for food because they changed mozzarella sticks on us. But definitely my girlfriend's and I's favorite place to grab a drink in Alameda.

It's a fantastic venue. Convenient, polite, inviting staff, great management, and wonderful house bands. I would love to program a night of sophisticated nostalgic jazz & blues music for an appreciative mature crowd.

I really liked it, I came at happy hour for a late lunch and had the soup of the day which was delicious, I also had their slider which came with chips. My wife had the chicken sliders with sweet potato fries.
The service was amazing, our waiter was really friendly and constantly checking on us to see if we needed something else.
I've seen on weekends they have live music but have never attended.
I will come again to try more food and coktails

I have been going to this restaurant for years, and not only when seeing movies. High quality food, high quality staff (bartenders and managers especially). Routinely has very talented and low key live music. Then the best part, bringing or getting booze and food to the theater. If you get bottomless mimosas at brunch they'll even fill a giant cup for you to take in. The owner of the restaurant & theater is super friendly and you will see him here every so often. It's amazing what he has done for Alameda's downtown with resurrection of this theater.

This is a really fun place to have a great meal! There is awesome live music and the food makes this restaurant a must visit destination. It was not on the menu, but if you ask for the beet salad, it was the best salad I have ever had. I also ordered the eggs Benedict. I am definitely going to go back to this restaurant and order it again. The food was fabulous and the atmosphere is really delightful. I give this restaurant 10 stars!

Stopped by here for a drink and quick bite before a movie. Sat at the bar and the service was fast and friendly. We ordered a glass of champagne and a beer and split the appetizer platter. It was perfect. Almost too much food, but the odd number of pieces kept us negotiating over who would get more mozzarella sticks, chicken tenders or quesadilla. Looking forward to returning and trying more of their offerings.

Went here as a last minute change as my target restaurant was closed. And I must say, I was pleasantly surprised with my experience. Sitting at the bar made it feel almost "pre-pandemic normal" and the bartender and wait staff were very attentive and on point. Bartender made for great conversation and always ensured our glasses were topped off. All in all, a definite return trip planned in the near future....may I recommend a Moscow Mule.

My visit was amazing! The food was so quick and fresh, so tasty. Deviled eggs were bomb. The live music at night was great, and my beautiful bartender, with her bright attitude and flawless bangs, did amazing at keeping my drink filled! The brunch also was by far the best I've had in Alameda. I can't wait to go back!

Great food and some really terrific craft beers. Attentive service and pleasant atmosphere. Live music is always enjoyable.

Stopped by for a quick pre-birthday celebration and i am thrilled that we did! This was our first time here... the staff was so friendly, great cocktails and delicious food (only tried the sweet potato fries, but so good!!) We will be coming back for the Sunday brunch live music 🎶😍

Love going on either Friday or Saturday night. Live music playing. Food and drinks are delicious. You won't regret it.

Extremely friendly wait staff and bartenders! Very welcoming environment. Well stocked bar and decent grill style selection. Also has some good TVs for sports event viewing but seating is limited if you want to watch a game on one of the screens. Plan to get there before start of the game if it is a big one. I recommend this establishment!
