The food is AMAZING here! I went for the first time the other day and ended up going right back 2 days later 😭 I tried both the chicken and the shrimp fried rice, the beef and broccoli, garlic noodles, the salt and pepper wings w/ fries (wasn’t cooked all the way so I ended up bringing them home and putting them in the air fryer), black pepper beef and their spicy crab fries. I have a video/ picture of most of these items just not the shrimp fried rice or the black pepper beef. Their alcoholic drinks aren’t the best but it gets the job done 🤣 I like going with around 4 people and having each person order like 1 or 2 things and do it buffet style.

I am from Virginia and I’ve had asian cuisine all over the world as a military veteran, this is by far the best I’ve ever had. The service is dope, atmosphere dope! You are seen here. I wish the entire world treated everyone the way we were treated in this restaurant. Portions are ridiculous, you can eat it for days. The technology of ordering yourself at the table and having great food in less than 10 minutes, wow!

This place is popping!!! Opened at 5pm on a Saturday and there were people waiting outside 20minutes prior. You sit where you want, they come around really fast getting water and other drink orders in. The food came out really fast too, and it was delicious! Clearly you can see nobody waited for a picture and attacked the food haha!

I'm so happy we came across this place!! It's a casual asian restaurant with a hipster vibe. We were jamming to good music (hip hop). Absolutely delicious food! Service was great, prices were fair and the drinks were pretty good too. We ordered a mango margarita, some blue drink, fried squid, korean bbq ribs, chinese broccoli with garlic sauce and kimchee fried rice. So much food and not enough room in our bellies to eat it all. I'm definitely looking forward on coming back, this place rocks!

I'm not from the bay area, but before leaving after every visit, my family always take me here too eat. Their fries and chicken wings are delicious. The fusion plates, Spicy crab fries and Kim chi fried rice are great. And you can't go wrong with the garlic noodles. Been there 3 times in the pass 5 years and the food has stayed consistently good. Definitely a place for anyone to try if they are in the Alameda area.

These garlic noodles are life!!! If I had the $ to buy them everyday, I would. They taste just amazing every time. They are never dry, they are perfect. I also Love the black pepper steak. Soooo delicious! They are on point with the texture and taste. Yummm!

So good! We got the green beans, salt and pepper tofu and kimchi fried rice (minus the spam). The kimchi rice was my favorite - delicious! Salt and pepper tofu was good but wasn't very salty or peppery. Surprisingly quick and great service too (because there is almost always a line here but it was fast!) yum!

Great and reasonable food. Fish n Chips, dried fried ribs, garlic noodles, crab ginger fried rice, and Filipino Halo halo.

I think we ordered almost one of everything, lol! Crab fried rice was amazing! I wasn't a fan of the garlic noodles. Noodles were a little too thick for me. I had i think a Ninja Turtle drink 🍸, 🔥!!

Worth the hype. Come in late anytime the quality of food and drinks are still high. Stiff drinks!

First time going, and all dishes average about $20, which I thought was a lot until the food came. They serve family style, big plates of food, and smaller plates given to put what you want on them. The Ginger & Green Onion Crab Fried Rice melts in your mouth. Also, had Black Pepper Beef & Mu Shu Wraps. All the food was good, and given enough to take home. Heads up, you have to order your food via by scanning one of those square things or at the bar.

Food was delicious I had the chance to get the shrimp garlic noodles and general tso wings

Love this place was my first experience but it's super nice and comfortable good service and the food service faster not to much waiting

I love monkey king, its one of my favorite places to eat! I suggest it to a lot of people, even strangers I have overheard talking about what to eat. I’ll suggest it a long with a bunch of other places as well, but I like it because the food is always good no matter when you go. The very first time I tried it, I went with my husband & we were so shocked how good it was. I had only picked up doordash orders from here before I ever had the chance to try it myself, but I noticed I would get a lot of orders from there, so I thought why not! I love the garlic noodles, dried fried ribs, crab fried rice and the wings with the fries with the garlic and jalapenos. Mmmmmm 😋 If you go you wont be disappointed!

I really enjoyed the food here. Me and my date ordered to go. I specifically choose to go here because i was craving some Korean fried beef ribs. I believe that's what its called here. I also got garlic fries which i wished had more garlic flavor to them. But other than that this place definitely gets five stars. It cured my craving. We didn't done in but to pick up the atmosphere inside of the restaurant was very hip and cool. Good music playing louder than a typical restaurant. I forgot to mention the people working there were very nice, fast with our order and attentive. Definitely will be going there again. I forgot it is very affordable.b

Great restaurant! I order the salt & pepper wings and the shrimp fried rice. Dining in or out they give good portions. My mom orders the short ribs and garlic noodles with shrimp she LOVES it the crunchy seasoned bite size delight. Inside is the pub and grub feel all around nice. One of a craving foods favorite!!

Food was good service okay...not what I'm use to...they just bring you your food and keep on pushing...
