Hello, my first time at the restaurant. I was there early afternoon during the week, so not so many people. I like the location next to the marina. I understand it has recent new owners. I think her name is Hannah. The young lady (Vinka) that took my order and provided the story of the restaurant was very professional, courteous, and helpful. She recommended the dishes. I ate the #40 Banh Mi Chao + the Clam Chowder. Really good. I recommend you try both dishes.

My hubby and I visited here for the first time yesterday and really enjoyed our time and meal here. The restaurant was spacious, clean and the vibe is fun with a view of the harbor. I ordered the clam chowder & my partner went for the fish n chips. It was all very delicious. And our waiter was on top of everything! I would definitely come again.

Cool pub style atmosphere located on the water. Nice scenery. Friendly service, great fish and chips served hot. Cole slaw is a nice side with a touch of sweetness.

I was down at the marina checking on the work being done on the 42' pilot house and spotted my pal George Jetson and his boy Elroy walking toward Quinn's Lighthouse Restaurant, and my first thought was a big Shrimp and Prawns Louie, and then catching up with George.
I've been to Quinn's Lighthouse before and the seafood is simply amazing! The freshness of the seafood will bring you back time and time again.
It's a 5 star joint. ☆☆☆☆☆

Came here on a whim from the airport while I waited on friends to land. Only the upstairs was open, but it was the perfect day to enjoy drinks and bites outside. The view of the marina was so relaxing. Being in the industry, I always appreciate true hospitality. That’s exactly what I received. Luis was an exceptional server…. Or as I like to call them, an experience cultivator. The manager Bill was just as welcoming. Some of the best service I’ve received in California. Come to find out, both of these gentleman have been with the company for 17 years. Impressive all around

I was a little skeptical about dining over here due to some of the bad reviews but decided to go anyway. So glad we did because we had a wonderful time. We ordered stuffed salmon, steak, chicken Alfredo and calamari for appetizer. Everything tasted great except for the chicken. But the white sauce was tasty so it kinda make up for it. We sat indoor but still managed to enjoy the view. They had the door opened so we enjoyed nice cool breeze as well. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience. My birthday man was very happy. Our server was attentive and friendly! We will be back!

I never thought I would say that the clam chowder was awesome but it was. I recommend getting a cup/ bowl when you visit. The stuffed salmon was delicious. I can't wait to go back to try this place out again.

This restaurant was so good! The service and food were both excellent. The fish and chips were a huge portion and you can definitely share them with 2-4 people! They give you two big slices of fish! We were with a big group they were able to accommodate us! Everything was delicious.

Mothers' Day lunch, and my daughter treated me.

Quinn's Lighthouse location: 1951 Embarcadero, Oakland. Restaurant is on second floor. It is wheelchair assessible. Lift (elevator) for wheelchair patron next to stairs.

Specialties: appetizers, salads, seafood, burgers, etc.

Eats: cioppino (for me) and crab louie salad (daughter). Cioppino was loaded with an assortment of seafood (clams, mussels, calamari, prawns, bay shrimp and scallops) and on point. Crab louie looked scrumptious; real dungeness crab, not the immigration crab.

I had the Arnie Palmer. It was okay. Underwhelming - not enough lemonade compared to the iced tea. (See photo)

Service was slightly slow, as only one waiter serving a room of about 30 patrons. After a while, two more employees were waiting and serving people. It was all good.

Quinn's Lighthouse has great food and atmosphere, with many options for seating on multiple levels. There are interesting and tasty choices for meals and there are gluten free options as well. It's a great place for a date, family gathering, or company meeting. There's also a cute and colorful community of houses and offices along a public walkway around the restaurant.

The seafood ravioli was very good. I would go back just for the food, but the view and old fashioned interior also entertained us. Service was very good from our waiter, who was friendly and made sure our glasses were never empty. The view from our table made for a relaxing lunch. It was a nice rainy view of the Alameda channel and boats in the marina. The interior of the restaurant is a nice wood color that looks old fashioned reminiscent of early 20th century decor. I don't know, but maybe the building is historic, it looks historic. There is an upstairs that has fewer windows, but more TVs and a bigger bar. You get peanus with your beer and you can discard the shells on the floor, it you want. The lighting upstairs is kinda cool too. There is outdoor seating on the second floor. A very nice, cozy, little place for lunch or dinner. Good food, good service, nice view and interesting building. Our dining experience was topped off by coffee on the house. Can't beat that for a great lunch at Quinn's Lighthouse.

We had an absolutely delightful lunch celebrating Mom's 89th birthday at this gem of a restaurant... not fancy but on the water and loaded with history! Our waiter, Luis, made it extra special! Food was fabulous, too!

We like this restaurant a lot. During spring, summer and fall you can sit outside, over the estuary. Their drink selection is excellent. My favorites are their steamed New England clams, clam chowder, pear-walnut- gorgonzola cheese salad, and fish and chips. During Covid quarantine in 2020 I got take-out for my 82nd birthday.

Closing, RIP. Hopefully will re-open under new ownership.

We used to come here a lot. Unfortunately, the last couple times, the seafood was not as fresh and was served warm not hot.
