Dimond Cafe

One of those local cafes that feel like family from your first time sitting down. Owner takes your order and fills your coffee. Chef brings out your food with an enthusiastic hoot. Old regulars who moved out of the neighborhood swing by to enthusiastic welcomes, and claim this is the best burrito in the city. I had the California Omelette and it did not disappoint. But it was the love slathered over everything that has me writing my first restaurant review ever.

What an amazing Caesar wrap plus great service! The coffee was also delicious. I will definitely be back.

Came here with a family friend and had no expectations. Ordered a ham and cheese and avocado omelette and it was FANTASTIC! The potatoes on the side were perfectly seasoned and cooked well. Loved the customer service as well. Will certainly be back

Mom and Pop vibes with very quaint (but clean) area to eat. We live in the neighborhood and are really happy we decided to try this place out. The owners/workers speak Spanish and English and they always chat in Spanish with some customers which is sweet. We have only been here a few times but everytime we come there is at least one "regular" who comes in and the person behind the counter remembers their order and asks them if they want "the usual?" It's really that community vibe I wish we had even more of in diamond district. Plus the food is really tasty. If you order something with bacon or avocado in it- the ingredients are generous and delicious.

You know that saying..."sometimes, the thing you're looking for is right in front of you"..?

I finally found it...walking distance from my house. Lol

Great service, so friendly, I felt very welcomed there. Giant pastries, all American breakfast plus a chai latte was tasty and satisfying.

Prices are reasonable, all staff are friendly and the food is really good.

The reviews on this place are spot on, was looking for a good local breakfast sandwich and I was not disappointed. The prices are pretty low once you see how large a croissant sandwich is. Haven't gotten around to trying anything else, but I'll certainly be back for more. Staff is always friendly and prompt, plus there's usually some one signing from the kitchen.

We asked a local where was a good place for breakfast and she recommended Dimond Cafe..... TRUST THE LOCALS!! Great service, Great food, Great atmosphere. We cleaned our plates.

Friendly owner and staff. Prices are fair for the portion and the food is tasty. Great place to meet friends over coffee and simple bites that's a little more than snacks. I've parked my but a few times and worked there on my laptop for a few hours. The Wi-Fi was fine for light surfing and email, didn't try more than that.

First off a big thumbs up to Sarah for the great down home experience!!.Second the food was off the hook!! I will be back soon. I will also definitely recommend this place to everybody I know.

Super rad neighborhood business. Great for a good, delicious, cheap breakfast. I had one of their hot and ready breakfast burritos and it had peppers,onions,potatoes,sausage,egg, and it was great and less than $5! Can’t find something that good and that cheap anywhere else in the Bay! Nice Owner, spoke Spanish, was giving customers hugs. Will definitely go out if my way to give them my money in the future.

I walked by this place a hundred times and never went in until today. I was greeted by the woman behind the counter with a friendly smile and nice attitude. I got a cheeseburger and some garlic fries. The garlic fries are the best I've ever had. They use REAL chopped garlic and the fries are cooked just right. So if you're feeling naughty get some of these garlic fries. The cheeseburger was excellent. Cooked just right and the vegetables were nice and fresh, nice crispy lettuce. Will be going back there soon!

I liked this place. Great place for breakfast or specialty coffee. Tried it before a conference in the area one morning. Small hole in the wall that i didn't know existed until i parked in front of it and decided to try something local instead of Starbucks. I tried a sausage egg sandwich and it was freshly cooked, very tasty, big, and filling.

Also got a mocha, which is one of my standards at Starbucks. I think I liked this one better.

Definitely recommend. If I lived or worked in the area I'd be back regularly.

First time here and I've lived in the nearby Laurel district for 18 years. The food was perfect! Dimond omelette w/coffee. Great coffee btw. The young lady at the counter was pleasant and very friendly. Nice way to start my day.
