Bay Farm Island Library

Plenty of space and power outlets for working quietly in my laptop. No tablets, like many other larger libraries, so when i take my kids here, they can focus on reading.

nice, quiet library. a bit on the small side, so the selection is not that great. you can place holds on anything in the whole library system and have it delivered to this branch, which helps.

they generally put a jigsaw puzzle out for library patrons to work on.

We used to spend countless hours in this little but functional library while my kid was at elementary school in Bay Farm.

Open on Friday please!

I come here to study instead of sit in rush hour traffic since this is close to my work. However, it seems to be used mainly as a playground for children. They are always running around and screaming and yelling. No one asks them to go outside or keep it down; parents aren't expected to watch their children.

If you plan to come here for anything educational, bring headphones and turn them up. If you have another library nearby, go there instead.
