I don’t know how to put in words to show my gratitude and appreciation to the Greer Family Mortuary. They handled everything with such care! During this difficult time we were guided step by step in preparing this service. The care, concern and professionalism shown to us was outstanding! We thank you all (Christine and Staff) for helping us create the perfect celebration of life for my mother and father in law.
Your genuine kindness and compassion was deeply appreciated and will always be remembered.

Being a local resident, I have attended several funeral related functions at Greer Mortuary. Whether it be a viewing, a vigil, prayers / the Rosary, or other, I alway knew that Greer would be the venue that most events would take place (other than church, synagogue, temple, or other place of worship). Families would choose Greer not just because of the reputation of the name, but because they have full service with attentive and knowledgeable staff, helpful from the whole process from planning and execution, to post mortem follow ups.

That's why most people I know in the area, choose Greer Mortuary..... and then, it sadly was our turn to call upon Greer for their assistance when my father was called to the Lord.

Christine was very helpful from the time we reached out, flexible, knowledgeable and just very pleasant during this difficult time. It was also a very "familiar" feeling working with her and her team, since we had so many friends and families use Greer Mortuary in the past, that she knew many of the same florists, church contacts, and related funeral related suppliers, and this made it easy for us as they are trusted.

We all know the funeral business is just that, a business, however, Greer Mortuary made the whole process more personable, and really understood our needs and went out of their way to make it feel less than a business transaction and more really support and helping us celebrate the life of my father, in the best way possible, working with Greer Mortuary.

They basically did A - Z for us... from the filing of paperwork with the State / County to be able to transport my father from the hospital to their mortuary facilities, to the preparation, the selection of either Caskets or Urns or whatever was needed, and even with getting us the required Death Certificates, etc.,....

They did so much behind the scenes work that it allowed us to focus on the real matter, grieving for my father and tending to the many out of town guests who came to mourn the loss and also celebrate the great life my father lived.

The grieving part is important as well as the planning for the funeral, and to be able to focus on the family is paramount and we are so grateful to Greer Mortuary for allowing us to focus on what we needed to, rather than the "transactional" side of it.

I would definitely recommend Greer Mortuary to anyone who may need their services.

My husband passed away suddenly, and Greer Family Mortuary & Cremation Services was exactly what we needed during this very difficult time. Christine and Michelle treated our family with respect, compassion, and kindness from the beginning and even after the end of our experience with them. They made navigating the process stress-free for us, and kept us updated along every step of the way. We encountered some unforeseen delays that were out of our family’s and the mortuary’s control. However, Christine went above and beyond and made sure our loved ones remains were home before Christmas, and that the Death Certificate was delivered in a timely manner. Despite the pandemic when I’m sure they were super busy, we always felt like the only family with whom they were working. Additionally, their chapel is also very beautiful and peaceful. I would highly recommend them to anyone who has lost a loved one.

The professionalism and empathy shown by Robyn Reese and Christine Amittone was refreshing and sincere.

I was continuously updated through this difficult process with care, concern and resource material.

The business of arranging funeral services when one is deeply grieving is a difficult thing with which to have to deal; Greer - Christine and Michelle, and the two individuals who came to collect Dad's remains (I did not get their names, but THANK YOU!), and everyone behind the scenes who assisted every step along the way - and way beyond our father's passing - have all been superb in their care, thoughtfulness and professionalism.

Christine at Greer Mortuary helped our family arrange our mother's funeral arrangements at Arlington National Cemetary. Christine also arranged our father's veteran's military honors burial at Arlington National Cemetary 8 years ago. Due to the meticulous records Greer Mortuary retained, arranging our mother's funeral was seamless. We are completely satisfied and appreciate the service and care we received throughout this difficult time.

All staff is very pleasant. Rosie and Christine were wonderful. From the moment we spoke with Rosie, we knew that Greer Family Mortuary and Cremation Services was what we needed at this difficult time. From the beginning Rosie was professional, compassionate, caring, attentive and has continued to do so even after my husband's funeral. She took care of everything, make the necessary calls and keep us inform at all time; we did not have to worry about any detail.
Christine was there for us too, answered our questions, giving us support. I do not have enough words to say thank you to both.

Greer Mortuary is such an amazing place. They take what could be the most awkward, painful, frustrating, scary and confusing moments we all face in one way or another and hold your hand through it all. Greer Family Mortuary was here for us during one of the more difficult times of our life. They were respectful, helpful, and responsive to all our needs and wishes. They treated our loved one with care and kindness. So many unexpected things came up and Michelle was always there to help fulfill our desires and take care of our family.
